- After a fantastic response from you viewers regarding platformer games on the Amiga, I have decided to do a follow-up video. Some fantastic games were chosen by you all, and thank you for the suggestions.
Apologies for the mistakes, God's is not a stock game on the a500 mini, and Lollypop is an OCS/ECS title.

Great video. Assassin Special Edition and Odyssey are both impressive on the Amiga. And Putty Squad is quite the thing too. Glad to see RoboCod here; lots of technical wizardry in that game (and it's darned fun too). The Amiga certainly has no shortage of platformers.
@@Nebulous6 thank you. The Amiga has some fantastic platformer games. Robo Cod is a childhood fav of mine. 🕹👍
I was playing a amazing game on Amiga 500 - You were a sorcery, going through old castle, taking potions, and You can have fiend dog/wolf (I think that it was 2-nd player), and You can have buch of bats - that was helping You to kill enemies... Has anybody remember name of this game ?
It sounds familiar, I will do some digging and let you know. 👍
@@garygillgaming Great :)
@@slapfight3581 can you remember any other aspect of the game. 👍
@@garygillgaming Unfortunately no... Only this mag, dog and sometimes bats and help, typical platform game, and I think there was switches and gates... I spent lot of hours playing it with my friend...
Could it be Shadow Dancer?
Lollypop AGA? I thought it was ECS. Maybe simply because of extra Memory? It does not use the AGA chipset as far as I know.
I've just checked, and apprantly it's for OCS and ECS. I never got it to work on my 500. My mistake 😳
I have played all of these games on my
Amiga 500...
except SON OF CHUCK, LOLLYPOP
and DELIVERANCE: STORMLORD II.
They were definitely the great games.
RISKY WOODS was definitely the most frustrating game, i have ever played.
THE FIRST SAMURAI is one of the
Commodore 64 and Amiga games,
that gave meow the inspirations for
practicing to draw my own art works 🖋️🖊️✏️🖍️
- Stan Sakai's USAGI YOJIMBO style 😺👍.
Once again, your video deserves a big retrospective like 👍🕹️ from Vantaa, Finland 🇫🇮.
Thank you, Ari. Risky Woods is a very hard game to play, but I do love the music and graphics. I missed Deliverance back then, and it was a nice surprise when I first played. Hope you enjoy your Sunday from sunny Wales 🏴🕹👍
The ones that I vividly remember playing are:
Titus The Fox
Brian The Lion
Zool series
Arabian Nights
Second Samurai
And, not sure if this counts, but Sleepwalker was one of my all time faves!
Great game picks there. I will add them to the list. 👍
@@garygillgaming Thanks Gary! Subscribed and will be making my way through your videos, bringing back great memories
@@CharlieTRB thank you. Hope you enjoy the trip down memory lane. 👍🕹
Lollypop is "AGA only"? Hmmm, it's listed on several Amiga sites as an OCS/ECS game - and looks it. User reviews all mention that they played it on OCS. One of the main complaints is that there ISN'T an AGA version. The plot thickens...
No, I made a mistake it's for all Amiga's, but it doesn't work on my a500. 👍
@@garygillgaming Fair enough.
I wish Gods was on the A500mini 🤘🏻
I've just checked, and Gods is not a stock game. That's another mistake. 😳
@@garygillgaming It would have been glorious if it were and Flashback 🤘🏻
@AmigaDog that would be amazing. There is always another way to play these games on the mini.
@@garygillgaming yep I know I'm backing all the options that makes the A500mini Glorious 🤘🏻 can't wait for the Amiga maxi, hope its more powerful 🤘🏻
@AmigaDog I'm really looking forward to the Amiga maxi. I wonder if it will be a full size a500 or possibly a600. 🤔
I played Flimbos on both Amiga and C64. What is strange, I actually like C65 version much more.
It's a must play game on the C64. 👍🕹
Isn't Deliverance a successor to Stormlord? That's what I've heard 🤘🏻
Yes, it is. 👍
@@garygillgaming cool🤘🏻
GaryGillGaming wonderfully outstandingly magnificent splendidly remarkably glorious
Thank you. All great games in this one. Thanks for watching. 👍🕹
