Just installed mine. Couple things I think may help others: keep track of which vents and associated pieces you use per side, double check to make sure everything is face up correctly, and when installing things back note that you have to install the driver dash piece before the main vent piece in the center
Just a heads up but the 2019 at least is slightly different the rings the chrome is installed in are molded to the larger piece. Instead of all of them being like the passenger vent. I took some pictures if your interested. Love the look with my cement!
@@doda7443 sorry just saw these requests. The process is basically the same except where he pulls the individual vents from the main section. You have to swap the rings while it's all one piece.
My Tacoma is a ‘19. All my rings were #’d 2 also. Still, install was no problem. Follow the video and take your time. Don’t rush it, watch the details and it’ll work out fine
if you arent associated with MESO ,then you should be, they should send you all their shit so you can make video of the install. professional thumbs up 100%
Some of them are pushed all the way down but dont seem to be sitting flush on mine. But appears all vents have different angled borders so appears lile theyrre not on right. Does any one else have this problem?
Yeah, what Ryan says. If has a 3D scanner he should've just scanned the original chrome rings and re-created them in the different colors, then they'd all fit perfect. It does make my I.T. OCD tick to look at them and they're not sitting flush, looks a bit sloppy. Hopefully he'll put some work into them and come up with better ones that fit flush, there's definitely room for improvement. I'd buy another set and swap them out if he did come up with ones that fit flush like the factory chrome ones.
Installing mine now. Pretty disappointing that they cost this much and they AREN'T a perfect fit. Factory chrome rings are cut at different angles. MESO rings are all identical and so some of them don't sit flush properly. Reading these comments, it was a problem 2 years ago, and is still a problem now. Guess MESO doesn't care about customer feedback, and doesn't care about perfection.. Bummer..

Mine's a 2021 and all of my rings were also labeled 2. That part of the video confused me a bit

Just got my kit. Just wish it was available before I installed the expedition Essentials 3tpam. Center is going to be a pita to remove now.
Can the rings be painted and then re installed again. Or if the tabs in the back are cut they are no good.

Seemed liked too much hassle with the dash disassemble, so I went with the ones that's use the 3m backing. Couldn't be happier.

The dash panels really just pop out like that? I'm sure I can do it myself but I feel like with my luck I'd break something.

Yeah. The original factory chrome rings were angled cut to be flush but my rings if left flush leave a visible gap with these meso rings.
yeah i just installed mine today and have the same problem. It's not even numbered in the back either which one goes where.
