Blue Heelers was once among the highest rating TV shows in Australia. When it first changed time slot from 7.30 pm to 8.30 pm, Blue Heelers was on Tuesday nights. This put it up against Melrose Place. Then it was shifted to Wednesday nights. It was good that it had such a long run.
Crazy to think being a 80s born kid in the mid 90s a crime/drama tv show was a family night together in front of the couch with no excuses. I miss those nights. Maybe it was just because there was nothing else to do, slow internet, no mobile phones, the nintendo only connected to the one tv in the house. Its weird to think that was one of my fondest memories, just because there was nothing else to do.
It was a beautiful time, I'm an 86er and this show makes me feel so Nostalgic. Reminds me of my parents who have now passed and a forgotten life I had once lived.
As a kid every time I heard this theme song I would get up and start boot scooting in front of the tv . .. bhahahah .. shit I wanna get up and boot scoot now . Almost 40 .
Incredibly good series, well acted, my favourite William McInnes, his acting in the episode involving 2 young girls swept away in a torrential storm was incredible, convincing, and had me in floods of tears. Wonderful actor
Best characters even most the re appearing cast like Clancy, Charlie Clarke and Raelene (also funny seeing her in that role and then as Boomer in Wentworth) Leila the old alcoholic lady and Merv
It would have been good if you captured the earlier themes in stereo instead of mono. For those who want the good quality stereo version - skip to 3:15

Not much to be proud of there now.
Best cop show Australia ever produced.
We had this on in England and me and my mum watched it back then what memories!!!
Chevyxwon - Thank you for compiling this collection of theme songs.
Always made me laugh having Maggie running in the credits followed by Nick with a speed radar
They never showed those two in the show
And then PJ radioing in for back-up 🤣🤣🤣
@@Schultzy1992 the credit sequence was filmed for that exact purpose, the scenes were not taken from episodes.
Season 3 and 4 were the best credits, rocking the vp and vr Commodores ✌️

Miss this show
Back when tv had something decent on it. Not like all this reality TV crap these days. Blue heelers was a very good Aussie drama without a doubt
This show feels more Texan than Australia
Best characters even most the re appearing cast like Clancy, Charlie Clarke and Raelene (also funny seeing her in that role and then as Boomer in Wentworth) Leila the old alcoholic lady and Merv
If I Clancy hadn’t brought in the bomb, everything would be fine.
Anyone else cry when maggie and adam got shot
Adam deserved it as he was a crook
@Gilson Serafim don't need it I've got it all
They don't make TV shows like Blue Heelers, Stingers etc. because they're too fucking cheap to hire writers

CheesyTV don’t know how to
@@chevyxwon The tape has to have been recorded in stereo.
Mt Thomas was one fucked up country town.
Mt Thomas is a fictional name.
