Reuben Hart What passes for funny today is disgraceful. These people were the epitome of talent. Today you're hilarious if you talk sex and use the "F-bomb" every other word. Like everything else in our culture, comedy has declined so far that it's unrecognizable to anyone who had the privilege of growing up when the words "talent" and "artist" truly meant something.

I've never been particularly crazy about George Burns. I always saw him as a guest on Johnny Carson & he was old & not so funny anymore. When I found this clip of 'Burns & Kahn', for the first time ever, I found George Burns to be a real entertainer, & they clicked like Burns & Allen, and when he and Madeline Kahn did this number, they clicked so well, with the funny bantering and dancing, it is so enjoyable. He had a long life. Unfortunately Madeline Kahn died way too young from Cancer.
