I was lucky enough to see him perform in person. What a night. No notes, no teleprompter, he sang and spoke and reminisced for over 2 hours. And we gave him 3 standing ovations. The Best.
I really don’t understand for the life of me how no adults introduced me to George Burns growing up. I’m 34 and just now discovering him. Evangelicals ruin all the fun and laughs ugh. George reminds me so much of my grandpa, loved cigars and Marlboro lights, told stories all day with jokes and went through quite a lot in the 20th century. Now all we get is shit wages Facebook vaccines and depression. Sheesh
Makes me happy to hear that you’ve finally discovered George :) I got into him at age 12 in 1994 thanks to my English teacher Ms. Craig. I remember when he died, and all the movies I saw of his and studied his career thereafter. I highly recommend all of his books, they’re fantastic and a real piece of show business history.
He was with Gracie and is still with her now. They will be together forever ❤️ Nothing good ever really dies. We Love You George & Gracie, We have not forgotten ❤️
#GeorgeBurns Was an Icon in #hollywood And he had a wonderful view about #Age It's A State of Mind & an Attitude And You can't help getting old but You don't have to be Old !!! Sincerely Always,Dave Minnesota
There is another video of mine of George at Disney World in 1989. It’s incomplete but it’s here on YT and is a great little set of question and answers and songs he sings 😊
He really smoked all those years & still lived to be 100! That’s amazing. Just goes to show that lung cancer doesn’t only hit smokers. My grandmother never smoked a day in her life & she died in 2006 at the age of 76. Also a LOT of celebs died of lung cancer & they never smoked! Take Bea Arthur for example! She NEVER smoked & unfortunately died of lung cancer 😞She was the best actress on Broadway & in Hollywood & an amazing activist. George is amazing in everything he does, too ♥️ He also still had a joke in everything he did😂 “I’m 93 & the bricks fell apart” also “Wanna see me walk fast? Speed up the camera” 😂
My favorite line, in the movie, OH God, the little girl asked? Why did you make the giraffe's neck so long? He said to eat the leaves off the trees. The little girl said, why didn't you just make the trees shorter? George "God" said, Where were you when I needed ya? Thanks for the post.
Love every time I see him he reminds me of my grandfather except for grandad's fused knee But if you notice one thing most miss the cigar he do a show on TV in later life and you think he smoke several but in reality he only did one half time it go out
Only a legend books a show for their 100th birthday ten years out and makes the show. All the bells and whistles in 2024 don't compare to George Burns clever one-liners and wit. It was in his blood to be an entertainer. I worry he had to a lonely life, as famous as he was. He lost his wife so young, and his best friend Jack Benny left him in his early 70s.
You have to put in context what a phenom it was for a nonagenarian to be as lucid and ostensibly hale and healthy back in the 80s, when the average life span for men was 72. Today it's still only 78. Billions and billions spent on healthcare and "longevity" (everything from fad vegan nutrition to Rx drugs to "managed lifestyle") and still we can't come close to what this man achieved. Thanks for sharing the video.
That was better than Jane Fonda workout. He should have a made money with a workout video! In the 1970 the average longevity of men was 72. George lived until 99 and 11months. The blessing was that he was sharp as a tack until the end. Shalom George.
He gets a first rate lounge piano act to come and play a little bit while he's making a few afternoon martinis! God lives pretty good I'll tell you lol

As often happens, Burns literally shrank in his old age. By the time he reached his 90s, he was the same exact height as his beloved petite wife, Gracie, who passed in 1964.
Wit, great timing, a quick answer, comedy, storytelling : YES. "Wisdom" well some people thing that what is written in Hallmark Cards is "wisdom" also. Wisdom I don't think he had.

He was my favorite comedian of all time. There was only one George Burns.
My favorite too.
The good ol days things were so simpler and such a great time
George Burns was wonderful. A combination of comedy wit and music. An unforgettable character that makes you feel good about life.
Alex Smuckler absolutely, he was a one of a kind human being. And a gift to Show Business and to us. I’m glad you enjoyed the video!
God said to the angels in Heaven,"he's trying to do me. Hey Gabriel, Michael, can he do me? Does he have the juice?"
Why I'm watching George Burns doing exercises is troubling. Why I'm enjoying it so much is frightening.
Julie Huggins hahaha it is quite enjoyable, for some reason

A generation before my time, yet in awe of George Burns.
flux capacitor 81 I love George Burns, I bought this video when I was 17 and I’ve loved Burns and Allen since I was 12. They have that effect :)
What kept George Burns around for 100years was doing what he Loved doing! Entertaining of course with that was exercising every day!
he ate healthy and to moderation
Nice to see-- G.B -exercising and happy, late in his life .He was a great comedian etc.
George Burns was a Lyric genius. All those songs he sang at the piano were great!

What a fantastic little gem found on YT. When I die, I want to come back as George Burn's cigar. 🖤
It made me a little sad when George was walking around the pool by himself. BUT then I saw what a full life he had even without his Gracie.
Sunny Angie Bee Nestork Whom he continued to love to the end of his life. ❤️

Sit ups at 93!!!
I never done one.
I was born October 89 and this seems dreamy. Same with Brando’s interview with Connie Chung. Good times

As George And Gracie Will Always Be Remembered.
He was a true icon with so much life lessons !!
When a 93-year old legend (and one of my idols) is more consistent with exercises than me 😂 I’m almost 24
A snail gets more exercise than you millennials, lazy Azzaro playing video games and phones, to lazy to do anything else
You could get a smaller pool. 🥸
I'm going to do his laying back neck exercises, it looks very practical
Classssss💯
Legendary. This video is simply "Wow". 💯
George, drove his own Cadillac until I believe age 93. He always bought a new one once a year. Missed.

Amazingly nimble body at age 93 and all because he exercised every morning. Also, George kept himself on a really healthy diet!
