It's true that we are all Irish on St.Patricks Day in NYC. I proudly marched with my old high school contingent , the famous Power Memorial Academy . Proud to honor St Patrick , patron saint of Ireland & NYC.

Oh my gosh, I never knew there ever was parades for Saint Patrick's Day? This is the first time for me!
Where do you live? Here in Detroit St. Pat's is big, there's a parade down Michigan Ave., one of the biggest in the country. A lot of Irish bars around the area and people start packing them in the morning soon as they open. There's even bar tours you can sign up for where they shuttle you from bar to bar. It was a lot of fun but I don't drink anymore, just stay home and eat, lol.
