    I've had fertility issues myself but when people don't I don't get upset. Everyone has different issues in life and I happy for people that don't or didn't struggle ❤ I don't find what you say thoughtless. It's your experience and that's fine for you to express the way you do ❤

    I have always wondered about women with multiple children: "do they not experience pain?". I am considering having kids one day (I'm at that age now), and the pain of labour is a big thing that is always on my mind. And don't worry too much about not getting big reactions from family. The fact that each one of your kids are here, means they have a purpose in life ❤

    • @kerrylennox7359
      @kerrylennox7359 10 місяців тому +2

      I chose to give birth to my children naturally, without pain meds.
      Is it painful.. definitely but I found it more exhausting than painful. I was very tired , however I got to hold beautiful mushy babies at the end, to which I am eternally grateful 🙏
      Also there are options you can choose..for pain management or pain relief, it's up to you, what you include in your birth plan.
      Don't let the fear of the birthing process interfere with your decision of wanting or not want children. As mentioned;
      How you birth is up to you.😊

    • @OrdinaryEnglishMum
      @OrdinaryEnglishMum  10 місяців тому +1

      Exactly as Kerry says I couldn't have said it better. It is painful but I think you know the end is just going to be so amazing and nothing in the world compared to the moment you meet your baby, it's an incredible experience so I think that helps. I'd do it again with each of mine just to meet them again ❤️

    I've never known anyone else have the same issue with family. I was always terrified to tell anyone about any of my 4 because no one was happy or bothered. It certrainly wasn't like you seen on yt or tv that's for sure. I find it hurtful and just can't understand it. When my friends tell me their pregnant I'm genuinely happy for them and cry. I've never had that response so keep a lot to myself as ppl seem to struggle to share joy.
    I feel our values are so similar, my little family is everything and always get questions about the way i choose to live because it conflicts with society's new norms. I guess I'm fairly traditional and a stay at home mum. I feel grateful every day to be with them and raise them 🙏 xx

    • @OrdinaryEnglishMum
      @OrdinaryEnglishMum  10 місяців тому

      Yes! I always wait for them to think here we go again so it's easier to just not tell anyone. My family are better than my husbands though.

    What a nice video. I like your honesty, your very respectful of others, you have your opinions which you say are just your opinions. You've done your research into things & again your not trying to influence others or change their views, it's just what you think / do. I think that is so respectful. Families, well that wasn't very nice thing to say to Curtis, but just rise above those comments not worth getting upset about. And who cares about the lighting , your not in a studio & your just a lovely lady who does some great videos so don't put yourself down about looking unprofessional or comparing yourself to other you tubers. A lot of them too false for my liking/ content Is rubbish & their presentation is not good. So carry on with the videos, laurien

Families are complicated aren’t they, I only have a brother he is 18 months older than me and we don’t get on at all I hardly ever see him and has never been supportive of me when I was going through a lot with mental health issues he has never been there for me I’m just so greatful I have my parents who have really helped me through everything!! A couple of family members weren't obviously overjoyed with the news that we were pregnant when we told them..but i think they just don't show emotions like that, and they also don't think where we live is 'suitable'. Its a shame that house size is the marker of success in society, and not how happy and loved your family is...
    My mum was always happy, although she thought i was mad when i got pregnant with my 3rd 😂

    It is so much more exciting when you don’t know the sex , I didn’t find out for any of mine and the anticipation is lovely of when the midwife, says it’s a boy/girl. I didn’t want to work until my kids were older too. I started working in a pharmacy when my youngest was at nursery and that was only a Saturday, just to get into working again and some time for me, adult interaction etc. It was really good for me, as my youngest child was very challenging so it was just a little break. I started working school hrs after that part time, 10 til 2 which fitted in with the kids. I felt a bit guilty if I wasn’t free to go to assembly’s or anything with my youngest, (as with the older two, I wasn’t working and could go to every one they had) but as I only worked 3 days a week, I was often still able to. I stayed working in the pharmacy, and am still there and my youngest is now 21. You’ll know when you are ready/if you want to go back to work, in the meantime stay home and enjoy your children. I loved being a stay at home mum, other people used to say, oh I had to go back to work so we could run 2 cars, have holidays abroad etc, but I was just like, look we aren’t well off by any means but we get by, and whilst we can afford to have one wage coming in, I’m going to make the most of it, because you never get that time back and I think it benefits the children greatly. Who cares about 2 cars, holidays abroad, the latest gadgets, the best sofa ,or whatever it was. My kids were happy and so was I being with them ❤xx

    Do you vaccinate your children? The only vaccines we haven't given our kids are the covid vaccines...and our pharmacist even said he wasn't getting the covid boosters, so I was like, well if the pharmacist won't take, neither will I lol. I do get the flu jab though, pregnant or not. I also got my two youngest the chickenpox vaccine, as my youngest suffered so badly with her chest as a baby, the dr advised it due to the complications that can arise from having chickenpox (I saw that with my eldest when he had chickenpox and he got prety poorly with his chest afterwards and ended up in the high dependency unit in hospital) so i didn't want anything like that happening again.
    I'm not judging, just asking out of curiosity 🙂 xx
