Hi Laurien. I was a midwife for over 20 yrs. I delivered some of my Grandchildren and Greatgrandchildren. I'm retired and miss it so much. I think you would love a waterbirth. As for the heartburn try drinking some milk if you don't have any Omeprazole. Loved this vlog. Makes me feel proud to know I helped so many women at this special time in their life. ❤❤❤

My sickness was terrible with each of my 3. I was off work for 6 weeks with all of them. I enjoyed giving birth, as painful as it is. I always thought of it as productive pain, because you're body was doing something it was meant to do. My 2nd and 3rd were overdue, sweeps got all 3 of my labours going which was great. I couldn't imagine having so many people to look after, 3 is a lot as it is 😂 lovely vlog x
I can’t get over how neglectful they were when you got sepsis. You’re very lucky to be here. How lovely that you will have another little one soon. I’m so excited for you!
I know that was so bad! The fact the ambulance came to my house and told me my sepsis score is 0 and left and I had to sort my blood test myself is shocking. Then I drive past ambulances all the time with sepsis signs on the side and in like really 🤣
I can totally relate Laurien, I missed my baby in my tummy after I gave birth too. I found it a rather strange experience because I had my baby in my arms but I missed carrying her inside me. I remember thinking I must have been a kangaroo in a past life. 😁 It’s quite hard to explain to people I always thought, people either get it or they don’t. You’re also absolutely glowing, you look so beautiful right now…so radiant and happy. 😊

Love how you talk about pregnancy and birth, I feel the same way but in real life always feel bad to say how I really feel as most people don't see it that way or unfortunately experience like that. So happy you're having a great pregnancy, I saw a comment on waterbirth and 100% give it a go. My first 3 were natural, all very late babies and didn't get the pool as busy or too late etc but my 4th surprise baby I finally got one. Amazing, so calming and special experience, totally recommend. Xx
Yes thats so true! People sometimes make it difficult for you to enjoy what you love. I did get in the pool with Lilac but it was literally 5 mins because I didn't think she was actually coming so I'd love to try it longer this time xxx

Hi Laurien, your looking so well and blooming lovely; I’m so excited for you all and I think it’s amazing to not know whether you are having a boy or girl I couldn’t wait I was too excited and I wanted to know with all 4 of my pregnancies, I have 4 boys my eldest is 23, my 2nd is 20, my 3rd is 18 and my youngest is 13. I don’t regret finding out I was just too excited. All my babies apart from my last were born near or on my due date, my last child was born a week early I was induced due to his weight was dipping on my scans I had extra as they thought he was measuring small. I wonder if you will go overdue. You are an amazing wonderful Mum. It is wonderful labour but it is so worth it. If I could of had a good partner I would probably of had a couple more I love being a Mum and loved being pregnant it was the best feeling in the world feeling baby move and the hiccups I felt. Looking forward to all your videos that you do and Happy New Year to you and your wonderful family. Sending you lots of love. Xxx 🥰💗🥰
