Casper (SNES) Playthrough Longplay Retro game

Casper is the shared name of several action-adventure games based on the 1995 film of the same name. Two different games were released in 1996 and 1997 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, by different publishers, in different regions. A third game was released for the 3DO (the final release for that system), Sega Saturn, PlayStation, and Game Boy Color, published by Interplay Productions. There was also a Game Boy game.

This is a game that i prefer to watch on youtube rather than play it. Our mind as a kid can make bad things looks wonderful.

The sad thing is that this is one game that helped drive a nail in Absolute Entertainment/Imagineering’s coffin.
”Casper” tried to be innovative (with a hint of “A Boy and His Blob,” except you’re the blob), but suffers mostly from life going down too quickly and the scarcity of energy-replenishing items.

For a SNES game in 1996, the same year as Mario RPG, this is SO bad, the graphics and gameplay is so lifeless. It looks and sounds more like a Plug in Play game! Frickin Porky Pig's Haunted Holiday is a better Casper game than this, and it came out BEFORE this game! What the hell!?! 😭
But if you want a better version of this SNES game, play the Japanese version. It's night and day. If you wanna know my thoughts? Just insert AVGN's "Somebody made a good Back to the Future game, and it was only in Japan!?!" but with Casper.
