I love the new Harriet styles, a lot of them are very 70s to go with the whole hippie commune vibe. That ugly mushroom bowl cut used to be SUPER fashionable fifty years ago lmao

That style is very reminiscent of the early 80s cut, made famous (or infamous) by Dorothy Hamill. I love it when I am wearing the Moss Dress & my hair is green. I may or may not have also rocked that style myself once upon a time...

My favorite thing about Harv's island is you can get the birds to fly straight into your camera.
To do this you approach them from the North (or above, however you think about it). Then when they take off move back North and maybe shift a little left or right so your POV is right in their flight path.
The first time I did this accidentally it caught me by surprise, now it's my favorite thing. It cheers me up whenever Redd only had the same boring fake art.
Given the option, I had been buying duplicate real art instead of fake, figuring I could sell it at least. Good to know buying fake art will increase the chance of more real art. I only need 5 more pieces to complete my museum.
I had no problem getting all the veggies the same week.
What I don't get is how you can get duplicates of genuine art pieces. Blathers is oblivious to this incongruity too.

I love that Sahara is there. Knowing that all I have to do is go to Harv's island to find cool new rugs,wallpaper, and flooring instead of waiting for what seems like weeks just to find out she came by the day before. Who else had that problem before the update?
If it hadn't been for Kapp'n islands it would have taken me over a month to get wheat (this includes Leif coming to my island TWICE!!!). Which sucks because you need flour to make most recipes.

technically all you HAVE to donate is 25 bells. I let my villagers fund Tortimer entirely and they got him to 99,975 bells over the course of a couple months

I like that torturer let’s you access inventory so you can just move stuff in and out for Cyrus without taking a million trips. Saves me soooooo much time.

life hack for unlocking the co-ops! You can pay money to each of them, but the game only locks you out of donating to the others if you fully pay it off. There's nothing really stopping you from, say, donating 90k to all of them and then just paying the last 10k when you want to unlock it

I'm pretty sure the lowest you can drop down is two- saying this because I've flattened my whole island and it hasn't gone below two. I think it may be because of all the upgraded buildings and all villager plots.
