I'm the "Log onto my island every day but don't do anything to progress in my decorations because I'm not creative enough to make cute designs" kind of player
Im the fashion type of player, where you only play to put bells into the able sisters pockets and need ever variation of the clothes, only upgrading your house to store more cloths. Lol
I'm the player who plays everyday for a few weeks, then doesn't play for months and starts all over again. I only really play the most during winter since I love it the most
You missed one more type of player it’s called the every dayer It’s the player that plays every single day ever since launch without stop and it’s never bored with the game always finding things to do even without time traveling😂
I was ABSOLUTELY the hoarder, my island was covered beach to cliff in dropped items I didn’t want to sell. I stopped playing in 2021 and didn’t pick it up again until a few weeks ago. Deleting my save data and starting over was good for me, I think- it’s got my motivation going full force again. Nook’s Cranny and the museum will be open tomorrow, and I can’t wait!
Oh I'm definitely a Decorator, but not a perfect one, but I do have 100+ villagers on my DLC island...I love designing those personalized little houses. I have little flavors of the Hoarder and the Never Finish-er, because my island is just kinda perfect because it's got some imperfect spots. Feels like home. ...I'll still go back and finish it one day though...
I don't know what type I am. I haven't teraformed or remodeled my island in years, I don't hoard or go treasure hunting. I've just made a quaint little community for my animals and just vibed for years with them.
Same…. I started playing Feb last year when I got my switch. I was OBSESSED, first playing in real time, then started watching UA-camrs and streamers and got more serious about decorating (and definitely a hoarder, had to painstakingly go though my maxed out storage several times to sell stuff to create a bit of space), I finished my first island around november, motivated by the idea of making a Christmas Island which I did (finished a few weeks after Christmas, oh well), in the meantime got myself a Switch lite for a second island to just play on because I missed that. Started another ‘decorating’ island (treasure islands here I come) on my OLED and a few months into those two….. burnout. Nearly 1500 hours but I might never hit that mark now, I’ve not been tempted enough to go back… yet…..
I’m part of all of them at the same time. My island is decorated to the last little spot with a clear theme. But I’m also a completionist so it’s functional - even though I finished nookpedia in the first year. Now I’m casually trying to finish my catalogue (except the villager photos because I don’t hate myself enough to do that to myself). I’m still on my first island and work on it when I get the urge, and then put the game down for months until I get into playing every day for a few months again. I love my villagers (and hate how repetitive the dialogue are). I hoard stuff but only in my storage, island must be beautiful AND have all resources available. I have been to some treasure island to get a few items and diys. And I am guilty of time traveling from time to time.
Decorator except for the beaches part and most definitely have restarted over 12x instead of flattening and is why I have 2-3k hrs😅 Procrastinator is more like it because I have finished 2 islands but that's also out of 13 that I've restarted, I either have to be happy or I get bored and I restart😅 Sort of a time traveler when I wanted a ramp/bridge to finish, past that I didn't😅
I'm all of them. But mostly hoarder and a completionist. I have a balance of using my second island as a storage and I gift people stuff from there and that's the island I go to treasure islands with but my main island is me trying to complete the game 100% and without any help from treasure islands
Biiiiiiish I feel so attacked right now 😂 and yes I am a "Hoarder" with a healthy amount of "I swear I'll finish my island one day-er" At this point I experience way more ACNH through watching you than I do firsthand & I love it (currently I am playing TotK.)
I’m the “I swear I’ll finish my island one day” person but some parts of my island are rlly cool and the rest is just random items everywhere that I’d int want to sell
I’m the “re-started my island because I finished my first one and got tired of it but lacked inspiration on the second one so now it just sits there completely empty” player lol
Part decorator, part hoarder, part never-going-to-finish! There’s no room left to decorate except my beaches (ughh), but still I’d love to keep going (… I wouldn’t have gotten another Switch for the purpose… nooo….) and i never use treasure islands, and the museum is never done… still the same island since release day! But do I hoard sticks? You bet I do!
i'm the "i'm so in love w/ this game but i'm not talented or patient enough to make everything on my island fit together nicely so i sit here w/ my overgrown massive field of lillies wondering when i'll finally get to 5 stars"
I'm the "I catch every creature for the 56th time and relax with random decorating without a core" So basically a combo of the complitionist and decorator halfway and also villager hunt with my own or traded nmts
I'd say I'm a mix between the Villager Collector and "I'll finish it one day". Like, over half of my villagers that are on my island are either in tier 1 or 2 on the popularity list. Additionally, even more are villagers I used to have are in those tiers, and am interested in many of the ones I never had. As for the "I'll finish it one day" part, there are some areas on my island I don't really have much ideas to do with, and still need to get just one more painting to complete my museum.
I got sick of new horizons because every time I logged on I felt the need to collect wood form EVERY SINGLE TREE in case I would need to craft something. This lead to me getting so sick of it I stopped. I know I don’t need to do that but it’s the fear that I’ll run out of a material that makes me miss new leaf
Just chop as needed! You can do it! I’m the opposite; I hate chopping (and my trees can be annoying to get to, but mostly I just find it tedious to pick them up and to hold my net to avoid wasp stings!) So I only chop for wood on palm trees or mystery islands now 😅
I used to play every day, it was my little ritual (i was mostly the “i’ll def complete my island any day now”… for like 3 years), but last year I had to sell my Switch for money reasons, and somehow I legit forgot your island is saved in your console and so now that I have a new Switch (yay!), I started the game and realised I had lost my beloved island. I hate terraforming, and had been so proud and happy with what I had done, plus my history with all my villagers… I haven’t been able to start over, I don’t know if maybe I’ll just wait for the new game, or get over it and start anew. Time will tell~
I played day by day back in the day not time traveling, but that was when i was a hoarder and had an incomplete island because i wasn't exactly sure of what i wanted to do and it was taking forever. Now i'm more of a decorator/treasure island goer. I only collect items i need from treasure island but also once in a while spend a few hrs cataloging items in categories, like clothes, Furnitures and so on and for things i can't catalog that i think ill need, i collect them and store them. Then once my decorating is done then ill play the game like normal like back in the day when we had our animal crossing towns collecting fish, participating in holydays, and decorating seasonally.
My SO says my style of play is competitive casual. I get casual games and minmax them, stretch the limits, tiptoe between so intense it's a chore and it's so ludicrous it's fun. I got 26 million bells in less than a month last time i reseted my island
I'm definitely a time-traveler, but I never actually set down the game long enough to wait for updates. I've pretty much been playing every single day when I don't take a break to play something else-- but even then, the siren's call of New Horizons draws me back in! 😂 Sometimes, I will let time pass naturally in-game, but with a full-time job and taking care of my mother non-stop for the last three years when I'm not working, TT is a great way for me to play and enjoy New Horizons when I finally get a break before I'm being bellowed for ten minutes later.
I'm the decorator who - for the life of me - couldn't make myself flatten the island even once cuz I'm too attached and would be too sad to see all my hard work gone. So no matter how much I wish to have a blank canvas for new ideas, I probably won't ever do it. I just want multiple islands - or at least one more, for my designing endeavors. I need my original one to stay and be my home away from home that I can come back to and feel at peace.
I am a completionist…. I have the checklist, I have the photos for my villages, I finished my museum…. I’m a completionist and it’s something I should go to meetings for
7:26 I just make the Amiibo cards I need, I refuse to buy cards in blind bags…it will become expensive and I will end up with every villager I don’t want.
I'm the animal crossing player who just can't let go of my new leaf town. I love new horizons but new leaf just does the gameplay aspect better (imho) especially on holidays like Halloween and toy day.
i'm a 100%-er for sure but i also value my mental health so i've decided to not complete the item collection or get every villager photo lol my one goal is to complete the nook miles goals and i avoid time travelling at (almost) any cost ...but i missed catching 3 bugs this summer and those are the only ones i have left to catch so i might time travel for the first time ever once i'm done playing through the year normally

I also wanna reset because i did max bells and treasure islands a bit and now i hate myself for it :P

That is actually super fun to do.
Me: I’m a Crafter Women And I let my creativity to speak for itself. But I do make my own clothes from in game. But I will be having a in game shop of my own like where I do get those Bells. But that’s only 1 part of my shop , I also will be having a trading stall for trading. So others can be able to help me out , whenever they wanna help me out even if I don’t notice it. I’m kinda like an entrepreneur but as a Crafter Women. But sometimes I will give things out for free , but if others want me to make stuff for them then that’s a different story.
@@thatonetreehillgirl Did ya read my opinion ??? If you did read it then I don’t have to repeat it all over. But if you didn’t read it at all , then I strongly suggest that you should read it instead of asking me to repeat it. But if ya chose to completely ignore it without actually reading it completely , then how are you gonna be in the know if ya don’t read it at all. ??? But that comment of mine actually speaks , for itself and that’s what I’m yapping about. Also it’s not very wise to just straight up , and ask people what they’re yapping about. Also I’m not your bro cuz I’m actually a woman too. Or is that actually referring in a unisex way is it. ??? If it is then I’m really sorry for being really defensive upfront here. Cuz when a person says something kinda like that to me , I just get really defensive like that but honestly I just don’t mean it in that way. But I just don’t like it when somebody just says something like that in that way. Cuz I’m just answering back to what Kora had said from in this video. Like how I do from in ACNH. But I’m a very understandable person. But I do hope that you can forgive me.

I got back into the game and I’m trying to grind for a 5 star island. Why? Because I have too many exams and this is helping me relax
OMG, I am a completionist that never completed! LOL!
Me: I’m a Crafter Women
And I let my creativity to speak for itself.

Did ya read my opinion ???
In Stardew Valley I'm definitely a Hoarder 💯😭
My goodness, I’m a completionist /hoarder hybrid. 😩
Thank you !
I'm the type of player who stopped playing shortly after they stopped the updates.
Wait…do treasure islanders really exist?! And how do I get to one?
is it normal that I relate to almost all of them?😅😅
I feel personally targeted.
