Maybe I'm missing something here but for 45 years I've been using good ol' reliable Hoppe's number 9 for all my gun cleaning chores. It'll remove the soot in the cylinder flutes and with a toothbrush with stainless steel bristles, it'll clean the burn marks on the face of the cylinder with a little scrubbing action.
@@ToddTheGunGuy a lot of revolver people don’t care about the burn marks on the front of the cylinders, but with a little scrubbing they look fantastic. Just not supposed to use that on a blued gun
I keep two of those in my toolbox at all times!
I was blown away how good these work. OMG, where have I been brother🤷🏼♂️

It looks like a winner. That's a beautiful revolver.
Wow, Works awesome!
Never knew. Craziness around every corner🤙
I use the Kleenbore version, "lead away". Great for taking those burn rings off of the cylinder face around the chambers.
Thx for sharing, will have to check it out🤙
Your not the only one, never heard of them. Sweet
Hot damn brother. You know a ton too🤙 Hope you and fam are well my man
This product works.
It's probably the finish or the materials Colt uses. I use Hoppe's on my S&W 686 and it takes the carbon right off
Not sure but wouldn’t budge.
I use them on all my stainless revolvers every two or three range trips. I cut out a small square approx 2 x 2 for each use.
This is an amazing product for sure🤙
I’ve been doing the same for a long time,,,use gloves keeps the hands much cleaner.
