I had a successful surgery at The Queens Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii

So happy to come across your video. Thank you for sharing. I’ve been so worried about pain after surgery but your video gives me hope that it may not be so bad. I changed my entire diet and lifestyle when I found out about my fibroids a few years ago. Praying I have a smooth and minimal pain post op and recovery
I had my surgery 1/31/22 it’s was successful the real recovery starts when you leave the hospital it can get rough tbh … sleeping on my back was not comfortable and constipation was a issue I was smooth sailing until I got gas around the 4 wk mark thought I was dying but it was gas trapped in my chest brought on by constipation from iron pills I’m at the 6 wk mark still dealing with gas other than that I would be fully recovered if I didn’t have gas… gas x was pretty much useless only thing that helped was ginger ale , warm water and charcoal pills also you pretty much need a lot of help be prepared to have someone help you at least 3wks
Hey!!! Thank you for this comment. The gas has definitely been a big issue for me, I have been able to use the bathroom but I have EXTREME bloating especially after I eat. Other than that I've been doing much better coming into week 2 but I'm definitely taking off work the full 6 weeks to fully recover.
You should do what I packed for the hospital and what all you used at the hospital video! You could even do something on what you suggest for post op care.
Definitely got some videos coming concerning those topics! 😉

Thank God for quick recovery 🙏 I did myomectomy on the 11th of March 2022 am very okay now 👌 for fibroid surgery is the best.
I just had my myomectomy done a few days ago. I’m so glad that the restrictions have let up since your video. My mom was able to stay with the for my entire stay. I had to get staples so I cannot wait until they’re removed. Irritating. I took the oxy as well. Made me so drowsy. Hated to take it unless absolutely needed.
Praying for a fast recovery 🙏 I might have to have a similar surgery this summer. When you feel up to, I have a question - How long until you can do daily tasks, go back to work, and until you feel yourself again? I work full time and I am trying to decide how long to take off work. Would love to hear about your experience. Thanks girl
Hey girl! Everybody’s recovery time is different & it just depends on you and your body. However, if you can I recommend just taking the full 6 weeks off work because you don’t want to push your body. You really won’t be able to do your daily task for like the first week & probably won’t feel like driving until about week 3. I’m on day 2 & just getting back to feeling myself at the moment but that can definitely change as the day goes on. I don’t have a lot of pain but I’ve been extremely sick 🤢 which I didn’t hear many women speak on throwing up & being nauseous after the surgery so you just have to be mindful that everybody is different. How long did it pain after the surgery ?
Yes my throat was very sore. I did out patient, wish I would've stayed in the hospital. The air pockets almost kids me I made it. I am 7 day post op

Please how large was the fibroids as you didn't mention it Sis?
Hey!!! So at the time that the fibroid was removed I have no idea how large it was. I know that when it was discovered it was already over 6cm and that was about 6 months before my surgery!

I’m so scared I want this done I have four big fibroids , just don’t know what to do I want the surgery then again I been drinking this tea that suppose to help I just been praying and praying the tea come through for me so I won’t need surgery 😭
Heeeey!! I definitely understand. When I found out I had to get the surgery it broke me. I was EXTREMELY scared lol but I had to do what was best for me. I have heard that different things like certain teas and a change of diet could shrink them though! I will surely be praying with you girl💕💕

After the removal is it possible for it to re grow again,,,coz I have now two surgeries and I have the third fibroid again n am childless
Heyyy! I am so sorry to hear about that! Unfortunately it is a possibility the fibroids will grow back even within the 1st year of having the surgery but I’ve seen a lot of research saying that a good diet can combat that. So I would recommend maybe switching up your diet, I’m working on the same. 💕💕

Hey!! Yes I got my surgery done at Queens medical, my doctor was Dr. Goulet! She is amazing and did a wonderful job! Everyone at Queens were very helpful and kind after surgery as well, I had a very pleasant experience! Wishing you well ❤️❤️

How many and wich type of fibroid u had?
I had 2. Im not sure how big they measured once I got them removed
