Wonderful. I had a similar experience when I was a kid and to this day flying the incredibly sharp noise BAC 1-11 is one the fondest memories I have

Impressive, that low pass over the strip would have a great sight for the locals. Would be hard pressed to see a jet landing there nowadays?
