Frame generation are fake frames in the sense that they dont represent the current game state or tighten the frame time graph and thus dont reduce input latency. I submitted a bug report through the radeon software about it so hopefully it gets fixed some time soon but yeah it's such a weird issue.

I'd like to use it, but the latest driver crashes the direct x 12 api in Monster Hunter World, so i had to roll back
Nice! Looking forward to trying this on rog ally
I am very happy with afmf 2
Is this going to be something useable on the steam deck???
would it be possible to make the amd client work for nvidia users? obviously not everything, but some applications should work, no?
My friend with a 2070 is always using FSR 3 because Nvidia won't give them DLSS 3. He says his next GPU will 100% be AMD, because you guys are helping him more than NVIDIA is. Keep doing such amazing work for the consumer!

RIP RDNA 4... 😥😥 Never knew you existed... :(
Would this work on my rx 480?
Including steam deck?
Thank you AMD ❤
So just putting the question out there, is this available for NVIDIA card too or just AMD ones at the moment? My sister has a 7600 XT and it would be nice to know.
If she has a 7600 XT, which is an AMD card, why do you care if its available for nvidia xD
@@syedimaad363 She isn't very computer literate, I want to know since AMDs FSR and Frame Gen works better on my system then DLSS does
@@endizza It's only for AMD.
Launch for consoles too! :D
Its already there
Oh baby. Legiongo is gonna be eating good with this update.
in fact yes, it works perfectly, although in some games more than others.
Thank you very cool. Would you work with Lossless Scaling's dev?
Hey amd, when you gonna release a driver to fix the poor performance on silent hill 2 remake?
Please enable adrenalin support for PC gamepass too
For everyone amd means for all amd cards or nvidia and intel too?
for all amd 6000 series or above
fsr for all gpu, fluid motion only for rx6000 and 7000 series, hyper rx only forr 7000 series
Not work for my RX 6700m :c.
I have 24.9.1 version
I was able to play Space Marines 2 because of AFMF2. Game is great but performs terribly on my rig. Now its 100fps with occasional drops due frametimes. Still, super playable.
AFMF2 doesnt run with game on my PC. Shows as inactive on the Adrenalin tab.
What settings are you runninh with?
For a while it worked on Space Marine 2, but for some reason I can't get it to work anymore. I activate and deactivate it, I tinker with the in-game settings, but it just doesn't work anymore. Seems busted. Sad. The performance wasn't terrible.
You might have an app opened that blocks it and breaks the radeon profiling of the game for whatever reason. I ran into this same kind of issue and I narrowed it down to having spotify open. Whether it was the app or in a browser I'd have to close out of it completely and sometimes have to restart the game for AFMF2 to start working again.
I submitted a bug report through the radeon software about it so hopefully it gets fixed some time soon but yeah it's such a weird issue.

Also hapened with me.
Right after the driver instalation it was working, but after that it shows like inactive on the adrenalin tab.
Tempted to come back to AMD for their CPUs after being away for a few generations! I was a big fan and supported them but the tech was just terrible so I changed. This was back when I had a 8350 haha. Sooooo time ago and jumped to NVIDIA/ Intel and it just works flawless but intel is doing my head in with DDR5 and PCIE lanes.
When Ryzen 9800x3d?
I’m gonna load this drivers on an NVIDIA card out of spite. 👍
Is it compatible with Nvidia?
No
This work on a rx 580?
