- सियाचिन की आग लगने की घटना में शहीद हुए कैप्टन अंशुमान सिंह को हाल ही में मरणोपरांत कीर्ति चक्र से सम्मानित किया गया। राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू से शहीद की पत्नी स्मृति सिंह ने यह सम्मान ग्रहण किया। इसके बाद से लगातार स्मृति और कैप्टन अंशुमान के माता-पिता सुर्खियों में हैं। सोशल मीडिया पर एक पोस्ट में स्मृति के खिलाफ अभद्र टिप्पणी की गई, जिसके खिलाफ महिला आयोग ने कड़ा ऐक्शन लिया है। इस टिप्पणी को लेकर दिल्ली पुलिस ने एफआईआर दर्ज की है। इस मामले में शहीद कैप्टन अंशुमान सिंह के पिता की भी प्रतिक्रिया आई है। उन्होंने कहा है कि मैं उस दिन का इंतजार करूंगा जब न्याय मिलेगा। शहीद कैप्टन अंशुमान सिंह के पिता रवि प्रताप सिंह ने कहा, ''दिल्ली पुलिस ने जो एफआईआर दर्ज की है, मीडिया से मुझे पता चला है। यह बहुत ही अशोभनीय और निंदनीय है किसी व्यक्ति ने बहादुर जाबांज की पत्नी के ऊपर ऐसा कमेंट किया है। मुझे अपने देश की कानून व्यवस्था पर भरोसा है कि न्याय मिलेगा। मैं इसे अपनी बहू पर की गई अभद्र टिप्पणी नहीं मानता, बल्कि मैं अपने बहादुर जाबांज पर ही टिप्पणी मानता हूं।
