    That dad waiting for the kids is why I liked using a Bluetooth headset when riding with my son. Then he got too cool so we lost contact with each other at times but had an agreement that if we did, we'd both just head back to the truck. He doesn't ride anymore, :( , but I still recommend them.

      I like it too and have a Hero 5 but didn't know it could do this. I need to figure it out.

      If you use the GoPro Quik software to download the video to your computer there is a button to turn on gauges prior to uploading to UA-cam. Pretty cool feature. There is also an altimeter and speedometer

      CaseyMoto 100x better!!! And way cheaper! I've asked my son many times, "would you rather camp at Hollister or go to Disneyland this summer?" He always chooses Hollister!!!

    Looks fun. I've only ridden Carnegie. As much as I'd love to go to Hollister, Carnegie is just so close and convenient. I'm in tracy

    Love the video looks fun! Planning on getting a dirt bike for the first time. From the sf bay area and planning on going to Hollister. Any tips for a beginner when riding out there? Lol

      Jaydeezy Hollister is very beginner friendly. Hit Lower Field, Rancho, and Harmony Gate first then go from there👍

      I’ll say the biggest thing is fear. The way I deal with it is just not thinking about it before you do it I mean if your just starting out don’t go to the black diamonds but that’s my tip have fun

      Connor The Cookie if you are comfortable on the intermediate trails at Hollister then you'll be fine on this trail. There are no real difficult sections on Fenceline. I do all the black diamond single track trails in the Renz on my XR200...they're all pretty easy.

    Renz has some really awesome trails but too many are so chopped out now, it takes away the even flow of the original design. I was discussing these trails with a buddy this past weekend and he pointed out that the beauty of these trails is that if you're a beginner they're challenging 'just because' but as you get better and faster, they ramp up as you go faster and that it's all by design. Really cool. Metcalf has some more challenging trails but they're almost too much for a beginner whereas a lot of Hollister's black diamonds are rated that simply because they're single track. Of course, Hollister certainly has some deserving black diamonds but most of those are unmarked trails that you need to be experienced to find.... Just my opinion that nobody asked for:)

    • @offroad8055
      @offroad8055  6 років тому +1

      fredman1085 Yeah the Renz is nice bc it's got the single track and there's no real imminent danger which makes riding solo not so bad. I agree that black diamond classification varies at different locations. We ride Pozo and Ballinger quite often...black diamond trails out there are marked appropriately.
