Fun to watch your buddy on the slippery clay mud. I'm sure it worked out for you guys. I was at Metcalf once and got the front tire of my dual sport so gummed up with that clay that I couldn't steer anymore.
I’m not an employee, so I don’t have all the details but in general: Yes, at this time the bikes need to be registered, either green or red sticker, or have a license plate. Unlicensed bikes from outside of CA can get passes, but I don’t know the procedure. All bikes must have a spark arrestor. There is a $5 fee per vehicle (car/truck,/van) to enter. Hollister is one of my favorite place to ride. What program do you use to edit your videos? I just got a GoPro and want to start recording my rides. Thanks
I use a Garmin Ultra 30 Virb camera & use the Garmin video software for downloading & editing. When I had a GoPro I used The free software which I think was called Microsoft Movie Editor. I liked it better then the old GoPro software.

Okie/Peat's/Jay's after rain; Fun! Having to go down Gully; Not fun. Awesome vid, Steve!!!👍🏼
Thank you!
Spot on! They catch the most sun so they dry up fast, rare but fun when those trails are muddy and tacky !!
Great video I like how you say what trailers your on l ride hollister all the time 👍🤙
Thank you Steve.
Love this park 👍
Were these intermediate or expert trails?
Half & half. Troll, & Donnybrook are harder, black diamond. Also, when wet, some of the clay trails are slippery.
Do the bikes need some sort of special sticker or equipment for riding off road? Like a spark arrestor or something?

Correction: The Garmin software is called Virb Edit and the Microsoft software is called Movie Maker.
I used to ride in Kettleman Hills and then Stonyford. Stonyford was a wild ride.
sweet bike!!!
Thanks. Unfortunately it took a lot of tweaking to get it to run well. Now I LOVE it.
