With the current focus on lack of safety of women in Delhi, another area of concern is the ordeal and safety of foreign women travellers. We asked a foreign tourist to allow us to film her as she went about the city.

i lived and worked for one year in india and generally would avoid having to travel or commute alone after dark alltogether. If there was no helping it i'd afford a meru cab. frankly i just tried to take a look around and if i am not seeing any indian women around at the time and place i kind of figured probably i shouldnt be here either. if a strange guy would really try to chat me up randomly like shown in the video i would act completely like i didnt understand and not exchange a single word and get away asap. you cannot even acknowledge such guys' words or else it's like they've already got a foot in the door. the riksha walas can be a pest but it helps being very stern and speaking hindi confidently. if he doesnt want to go by meter then "F* off and find yourself another passenger". also i think they don't only try to cheat foreigners. they will already try when you are from a different state within India which they hear from your way of speaking. so at least about that point i think nobody needs to feel singled out. riksha walas will cheat strangers to the place male female foreign or indian alike.

But now Delhi, NOIDA, Gurgao, Greater NOIDA is much safer you can easily find police surveillance around the streets at even 2am result is there is nothing to worry at night except some remote areas.
