Great session. Thanks to all involved. I'm with these photographers: as great as the Z zooms are (and they ARE great) portraits made with primes have just got ... something.
Engaging and informative video. Nikon, for many years, was the primary choice of professionals. It is great to see Nikon leveraging this strength. The image of Nikon as a professional brand has been eroded in UA-cam circles. Many of their influencers alleging or imply Z series cameras (with the exception of the Z9) are unusable for professional purposes. The number of wedding and portrait photographers who use Z6II and Z7II (as well as Z6 & Z7) seems to strongly contradict this perspective. This type of media offering also helps reverse this inaccurate perception. It highlights professionals discussing core issues about their work; who also happen to use Nikon.
Brilliant session, love looking at a great portrait picture and am very much in awe of those that can visualise and produce these images, I struggle with portraits, in fact they scare the hell out of me, I just don't feel confident in this environment. Thanks for this video, really enjoyable.
Portrait photography: get a 50mm 1.2 get to the beach with a person and lower the aperture to 1.2, Congratulations you got yourself a portfolio. I am sorry but that doesn't at all sounds like the photography I want to do. I learned what genre of photography I don't like so that is also progress. Great sessions Ricci.
Silly question but .... I have seen pics posted on an instagram account, taken with the Nikon z6ii anddd I'm in loveeee! My problem; I'm not good with playing with settings for every pic, especially with kids and pets... Can I use this Camera for an auto point and shoot?😳 Or is that a crazy question for something so expensive!? 😭 Thank youu all👍
On my Z9 after 10 month light sensor went down . Nikon service refused to fix it. Because electrical shutter it's very limited camera .I was Nikon guy for many years. They service turn me to Sony. I love A1 for many reasons. Now my $30k equipment from Nikon Z going for sale

This series is the best. Interesting chats, great conversations. Ricci is a very skilled interviewer as well.
Brilliant. Format. Presentation. Photographers. About their work, not the tools. Nothing sells the tools better than these great results.
Really enjoyed this, great images and lovely photographers!

Great series, look forwards to a Wildlife one ;) Also, is there a nod to Cypress Hill in the intro music?! 🤔

These are always fun, I wonder what the next one will cover.
Are there any topics you'd like to see covered?
@@NikonEurope I'm pretty sure you guys are going to have a sports and wildlife one.
@@marcusbeasley3212 stay tuned! 👀
I'd like to see several photojournalists interviewed.
Thoroughly enjoying this series!
I love the fact, that you are doing that show. The only thing that should be changed, is the sound. Sound like you recording it in a empty hall...
Yes, agree. Could do with some overhead diffusion to mop up the room noise
Wrote that on the last video, unfortunately nothing has changed 😢
@@Votjko They probably made several of these before the first one went live. I agree, the sound needs work.
@@Tom_UA-cam_stole_my_handle But still they can reply to that comment and to these here. Nobody's going to burn them for acknowledging it.
@@Votjko That is true, but Nikon has always employed top down communication. They will listen and take action but only rarely acknowledge.
Great work
