    For the imperm vs book ruling the explanation doesn't really have to do with lost target for imperm. Booking monsters doesn't cause lost target, as virtual world players know - even if VW Lulu's target is booked it still resolves successfully because the effect of VW Lulu doesn't rely on any properties of the monster besides its Card Type (Monster) and a facedown monster is still a monster. The reason Mourner/Imperm/Veiler doesn't work on a facedown monster is simply because a facedown monster can't have the status of negation applied to it, so the previously applied status gets removed. It never loses target, its more like its target gains a form of immunity. If flipping facedown caused lost target, you could use it to dodge targeted removal effs like Borreload Furious.
    The imperm as CL4 will target and negate the Aluber successfully. But being flipped face down removes negation. So in CL3 aluber will be booked and its status of being negated is then removed. CL2 mourner attempts to apply negation to an immune target, but can't. Then CL1 Aluber resolves as normal.

      But how does aluber resolve his effect if he is face down????😅

    • @philo2677
      @philo2677 3 місяці тому +1

      @@somehowrockingfloor3395 cause the eff is separate from the card itself. Effs know what card they are associated with so they know not to work if the monster has negation applied to it, but don't need the card to physically still be there or faceup to resolve. It just checks if the status of negation was applied when it was last on the field.

    For the SP little knight ruling I actually encountered it in master duel, and it worked differently. I tested with my friend and found out that even with chain on it's always the turn player activating end phase effects first. If on ur turn u clicked pass on titanic effect then u cannot activate it after sp resolves.

    I know you've explained this ruling before: But could you go more in depth about how Mirrorjade absolutely destroys purrely noir even if it has 5 or more material? In your previous video, you've explained that because of how it's worded it is not an activated effect and I believe you (even found a video of this very thing happening in master duel), unfortunately I'm not as articulated as you are and my locals judge constantly rules in favor of Noir lol

    • @galaxy-eyesknight4056
      @galaxy-eyesknight4056 3 місяці тому +2

      It’s just simply not an activated effect. The effect to destroy is resolving from being activated earlier in the turn. This works on psychic end punisher as well

    • @VodinhVlogz
      @VodinhVlogz 3 місяці тому +8

      If it leaves the field, it will activate its trigger eff (an activated eff that starts a chain), what the trigger eff does is not destroy your opponent monster, but place a lingering eff that will destroy opponent monster and is applied on end phase. This lingering eff is not activated eff. Your local's judge is an idiot.

    • @bryanimre4992

      Activated effects are such that resolve completely immediately after getting activated. So you activate monsters reborn you summon the monster from the gy and it’s done. That’s an activated effect. Mirrorjade destruction effect activates when it leaves the field by an opponent and later on in the turn, in the end phase, it’ll finish resolving.
      And the final piece of the puzzle is that the purrely xyz is only unmafected by activated effects

    What if the chain is like cl1 aluber cl2 mourner cl3 borreload furious targ aluber and whatever and cl4 imperm on aluber (ik it wouldn’t make sense to chain on aluber but let’s say it is like that) to my understanding aluber would not resolve but i just want to be sure

    The face down jester not being negated is a bit confusing. But tbh face down mechanic is pretty confusing to begin with

    • @saitougin7210
      @saitougin7210 3 місяці тому

      Are you sure Aluber's effect goes through? I mean, Imperm negates it first. Wasn't it usually like that, that if the opponent just negates Aluber, before anything resolves that could make it dodge it, it just negates it?

    • @xXNeoNashXx
      @xXNeoNashXx 3 місяці тому

      @@saitougin7210my understanding is only that when a monster goes to face down position it is considered private knowledge, therefore treating it as a diffetent card that inperm tried to negate. So it would be imperm to negate > flipped down, therefore a private card > effect veiler fizzles due to target not being face up > jester resolves as if it was not on the field.
      Thats my way of seeing it. Could do some test hands on MD to confirm

    • @MetaGamesGX

      At the point of resolution, Aluber is no longer face up, and is therefore not a valid target for imperm/veiler.

    11:10 what a question 😂 droll changes nothing to albion, the only thing that changes is, do you draw or not, you can spezial him, you can send and you can put hin under the deck… droll changes nothing, you are able to activate in every situation… you just not draw under droll.

    What if the Imperm is previously set in the same column as book of eclipse? Would the Imperm negate the book of eclipse and Aluber both? So Aluber would stay face up in this case right because the book of eclipse would resolve negated?

    • @Remxd1994
      @Remxd1994 3 місяці тому

      It will not negate book of eclipse, because if you chain book of eclipse after imperm then book of eclipse will resolve before the imperm does. It will negate if book of eclipse was activated before the imperm.
