@ministryofmaking created this wonderful and amazing moc and your presentation of it is so beautifully done !! I have mine lit up and can’t wait to build the next moc.
The presentation and construction of this video is fantastic! The way you have showcased this stunning build is nothing short of spellbinding (see what I did there)!
Love your video! I can vouch that it clearly shows off the features of the MOC because I recently built it too! I can’t stress enough how exquisite this thing looks in person. Ministry of Making did a phenomenal job designing this and I can’t wait to build the next one.
@@theintegralcogI haven’t yet but I’ve accumulated most of the parts. I haven’t seen any photos of the next one but I’ve messaged James and it sounds awesome!!!
I cannot rate this set highly enough. If you have the funds then give it a go. You won't regret it. In 2 weeks I should have everything I need for Olivanders. Really looking forward to reviewing that one as well :)
Totally agree with you. This is a Wonderfull build. And your presantation of it makes it more beautyfull. Then you forget the price of it very fast .....
love the detail and the size of the build buildings are quite adaptable in ways that can surprise. the expense is the main thing when sourcing parts for builds - i have ideas but cant get the digital studios to work for some reason so i just have to look thru other builds and moc and get ideas from that and try different things which is all time related
Time and money. 2 things I never seem to have enough of. I can't get the digital studios to work for me either. I prefer to hands on build but then i always end up ordering stuff I think I need but don't.
Thanks. It took me two months to save for all the pieces but I think it was worth it in the end. I hope to have a huge Diagon alley section in my Lego city one day :)
It is more expensive then a standard modular but I absolutely love it. Even now after a week of building it I like to open it up and have another look inside. If you are a Harry Potter fan I highly recommend it:)
Great videos. Going on Ministry of Making's rebrickable guides, the prices seem very high. I assume that the thing to do is to buy the direct-to-consumer Diagon Alley and then go from there with the pieces you need? I was given the Quidditch trunk so that's quite fortuitous. I love the idea of a Lego Harry Potter town display.
Yes that's right. Getting all the pieces is very time consuming and expensive but the final product is well worth it it my opinion. Don't forget to check out my youtube shorts to see my process with the ice cream and the book shop. Its so good :)
@@mouthofthesouth71 I did toy with the idea of tiling this in the flesh colour (like the boutique hotel) as I thought the pink was too bright and would look more like old plaster

I would love to light mine up. What kit did you use? :)
One of the most beautiful Lego set/MOC i’ve ever seen 🎉
it really is. I can't wait to place the Weasley's joke shop next to it :)

Oh I did 🙂Thanks for your kind words :)

Have you made olivanders? Waiting for the pick a brick is infuriating. Wait till you see ministry of makings next one. 🤯 :)

@@chrisboyd9889 I've seen the photos!!! Get ready, its the best yet :)
Another fantastic review and I am already trying to part things out for this and the other one -
They are very expensive to build when you compare them to an official Lego modular but I like see them as works of art.
@@theintegralcog agree 👍
😮😮😮 Amazing. How beautiful is it??!! Something special. Lucky you that you have the sets that allowed to build this amazing construction. 😊

Thank-you. My spare parts bin took a real beating from this build. I'm really looking forward to building Olivanders next :)

Looks fantastic, but while I like mint green, I did prefer the pink colour on the og building
