It's 60 tons because the weight they saved from removing the turret was added back into the vehicle as armor. But gaijin refuses to actually make this thing armored.
the reason the weight seems off is becuase most of the armor on the sides is missing. and wrong for that matter, they still haven't added slera as an armor type in the game so it uses the wrong modifiers
It is really sad to se how gaijin destroyed the Namer. Missing basically all the armor, possibly wrong transmission, only 4 spikes and no additional ammo for the gun. Not to mention that it should be called Namer RCWS 30, not just Namer 30.
If there's one low tier AA that I would love to see, it's the T-90. No, it's not what you think, it's a T-70 light tank armed with two 12.7mm DShK HMGs.

@@MrEsphoenix If you search up "what is the most armored vehicle in the world", it will show you the Namer. It's 60 tons with all the armor in the Hull. It can shrug off Kornets on all sides. Gaijin has failed the model the Namer's side composite at all and the rear door is labeled as 30mm RHA when it should be much thicker. On top of that, the side armor can't stop a Bazooka, let alone the M22.

Nagmachon/Achzarit not going to happen. These are APC with nothing more then machine guns. Some form of Eitan eventually for sure. Sabrah tanks imported to the Philippines might happen sooner at this point
The Namer is dope but the fact that it looses all of its ammo once the turret is hit / the fact that hitting the side of the vehicle with shrapnel disables the whole Electronics of the turret is very stupid

Sholef? forget that. Get me the Pereh. It's the only vehicle that would greatly able to make the SPIKE missile in this game somewhat useful as other vehicles that carried this missile systems like VBM Freccia and Vilkas has low count of missiles carried (8 for Freccia, 4 for Vilkas), not enough to inflict any meaningful damage, while this Tank destroyer disguised as Magach visually already carried 12 missiles overall in its retractable missile rack. This can already placed within the existing IDF tank destroyer lines surpassing Namer 30 to follow the Giraf lineage :v
its not just the merkava turret is 3 tons, this thing has much more armor in the hull that the merkava dont plus its ovvn turret and ammo that also vveights a lot
I know a lot of people are saying negative things about our the Namer, but I unlocked and spaded it the first day, I LOVE this thing for some reason, if they end up fixing it and adding armor, ammo, etc. that’ll be even better
If they gave it more spikes (like, 12 of them) do we could spam them off it’d be pretty decent even without the missing armor but it just doesn’t have enough spikes to make them all that helpful
Israel wasn't introduced too long ago and they got an IFV before France who is in the game for much longer, nothing against this by the way but it's both funny and sad.

Obviously the armor is too weak for 61 tons but I don't know why people expected this thing to have the strongest armor ever. All tanks and IFVs from Israel are made to fight insurgents with RPGs not tanks with APFSDS, they're well protected from HEAT and man portable weapons IRL but not really KE weapons. It might be the most well protected IFV but that just means its well protected from threats that infantry are supposed to fight.

@@Ghost_PL_ i have it and from my experience, its great, not as good as the m3a3 or bmp2m but paired with british tanks it does well, atleast for me. The only downsides for me are the round it uses (the PMB 090, even though it uses the M242 bradley gun) and it doesnt have commander thermals.
As much as I despise what they did with this things armor I’m about as mad with the turret traverse, I mean an extremely modern IFV and it has that slow of targeting speed

I’m Israeli and have close friends serving as a tanks officer. I let him check the marakava in the game and he said that a lot of the things are not correct. He didn’t say a lot but the real wight of the mk4 is closer to 80 tons..

@@yedidyah Well they did make a "rework" with it but not realy it just works with the radar moduel you lock on to a chopper and the IRST or the radar calculate wher you need to shoot to get that "shot gun effect" , and for me its realy good should bin since the puma came out now they just need to rework the MUSS and add working spikes to it .

Spikes need approach toggle, so you cam pick whether they fly directly on target, or high and from above. Like irl.

BMP-2M and 2S38 are 10.0 while the Namer is put at 10.3 and the CV9035DK at 9.7.

No. Namer doesn’t have 1500hp engine. It has AVDS engine from Merkava mk3 tank but the chassis is based on mk4.
Later variants boast a 1500, though those are very recent

In one of the matches I used it, and honestly, it feels a bit more reliable. Was wondering what that was. So they did rework AHEAD ammo type for it?
