If we ever do get more Russian helicopters in War Thunder, one I really want to see is the Ka-27. As it does have the same 30mm 2A42 as the Mi-28 as a main gun, a 7.62mm GShG rotary MG, and hardpoint for bombs, rockets, gunpods, and even the 9K114 Shturm anti-tank missile.
For the KA-50 and 52, you need to use the Coll for aiding in turning left and right, lowering the Coll rotates you left faster, and raising the Coll rotates you right faster. That helps a lot with piloting the twin rotar helis.

Changing the controls helps a lot with flying helicopters in War Thunder. It's called manual roll control. It won't level automatically but it is a lot easier to fly them around. You can also do some J hooks and all sorts of manoeuvres. GGs btw.
Keep some airspeed over the rotors as you slide left or right, you can dive away into the direction you're sliding with better collective response into clean/undisturbed air. In a hover if you slip below your downwash rapidly, its harder\takes longer to recover altitude in dirty air than in clean/undisturbed air. Phenomena is called Settling With Power. The 52 can definitely ruin some online experiences!
You should play the T-72A and T-64A. They were already pretty strong before and now that gaijin have them a HUGE buff by getting rid of 10.3 they’re absolutely insane now. They’re arguably the best tanks par BR now.
Mi28nm needs the pylons buffed to put igla and vikhrs on the inner pylons since it can’t compete with the ka52 and every other top tier heli with spike missiles
Hilarious how badly the Type 81 Tan Sam does vs the KA-52, the only time I've had success vs it was firing the missile way above it and letting it come down above it's IRCM and even then it's a 50/50 of whether it hits or just blows up early
okay tip: just stop dropping collective on it, if you do, do it very small amounts because its a heavy slightly underpowered heli with weird gearing so slight changes in collective are all you need
Leo 2A8 and Abrams Sep V4 will definitly come before Armata if you ask me, they are just upgraded 80s MBTs, Object 640 could come together with them maybe.
Although Ka-52 is not as user friendly as Mi-28 I find it more fun to play for some reason. To make it more playable, keep the collective above 30% and it doesn't behave as bad.
Russia doesn't need faster reload. They have too high survivability. Shooting 4 missiles with AFT-09 into the enginge from behind and hitting the front for the missile to be dispersed by contact plates all 4 times is stupid
The only way to balance ka50 is to give other nations a better anti air which is equivalent to pantsir , gaijin needs do something about it cause currently Russia has best cas and anti air

Maybe Object 195 will come before Armata too, but i think that thing would be stronger than the Armat, even the Armata with a 152mm gun (both have strong hull armor+unmanned turret and about the same p2wr, but Object 195 gets a coaxial 30mm gun) so probably no.

To be honest I don't think the T80BVM is that good. It's certainly a good tank, but not comparable to the Leo2A7 or the Str122. But the KA52 is arguably the best helicopter in game.
Agree on the BVM statement but Disagree on the Ka-52. Spike slinging hellicopters are the new meta...just hover over the helipad and spam Spikes at everyone...no need to guide them whatsoever.

They go for centre mass (or at least they try to). On certain maps, where it is quite open, I'd say it is generally better. But most maps, the KA-52 is far superior.
WHATEVER, at top tiers every MBT have the same mobility and firepower( and they all have the ability to one shot each others), only the armor change depending on the mbt so if you're a skillful payer you will see and shoot first. At top tiers skills matter more than the tank. And one more think, i think you're missing what makes russian tanks so annoying : their little size, strv's are so big even though it has the best armor every weak spots become big.

You are way too agressive with the Ka-52. You got to do smooth maneuvering with it. Don't drop your collective, but tilt on the side to evade quickly. Never put your collective to 100%. It's excellent once you know how to play it.
i have to say, imo it's pretty unfair that russian tanks can't reload when the autoloader is destroyed (irl you can load manually, but i takes like 40seconds) but NATO tanks still reload when the loader is killed. That won't even work irl, since the loader is on the left and the gunner and commander on the right. Ammo door is on the left and also the gun can't get loaded from the right side as easy as from the left side. And if you're dwon to two crew members even an Abrams will have to reload at least for 15-20 seconds.

The Ka52 goes down if you stand still and reduce engine power really fast. To avoid this, you just have to fly to any direction.

Spike can go 20km or till it fly for 45 secs maxed. The puma Spike is my Fav to counter long range Helis.

I think the armada should be finished in real life first before adding it in game not because i am against it but if we do so every nation wants there toptier concept tanks like abrams x and kf41 etc and i think thats not the time for it right now in the game those are all unfinished tanks and never saw battle or even effectively the shooting range…..
Challenger 3???? it was first shown later than T-14 and will go into sevice in 2028.
T-14 at least saw a lot of shooting ranges and is going into service at the moment (that doesn't mean it'll be used in ukraine)
@@sturmovik_80 yeah i know. What i meant was that some tanks for certain nations should wait a bit before coming in the game for balance reasons t80bvm and t90m are currently strong enough to support the russian groundtree but we will see what gaijin thinks
You are way too agressive with the Ka-52. You got to do smooth maneuvering with it. Don't drop your collective, but tilt on the side to evade quickly. Never put your collective to 100%. It's excellent once you know how to play it.

i have to say, imo it's pretty unfair that russian tanks can't reload when the autoloader is destroyed (irl you can load manually, but i takes like 40seconds) but NATO tanks still reload when the loader is killed. That won't even work irl, since the loader is on the left and the gunner and commander on the right. Ammo door is on the left and also the gun can't get loaded from the right side as easy as from the left side. And if you're dwon to two crew members even an Abrams will have to reload at least for 15-20 seconds.
