- JPMorgan Chase & Co. CEO Jamie Dimon said his biggest worry is around geopolitics and Russia's invasion of Ukraine. "February 24th was a massive pivot change in the world," Dimon said at Saudi Arabia’s Future Investment Initiative conference in Riyadh. "It kind of woke us up this illusion that the Western world had, that somehow peace is at hand and you don't really worry about it. That was a mistake."

But no one can criticize Saudi family. Hardly an open discussion.
I agree with Dimon's views and remarks, but we also have to ask ourselves, who can get things done? I especially appreciate Dimon's reference to learnings from what other countries in terms of what works well. That is being smart. My gut feeling is that the Western world, Europe far more than the US, is increasingly trapped in a socialist rut that is diluting and gradually reducing our prosperity and strength. If my got feeling is right, changing that course will be challenging.
Read the budget we are not trapped in any socialist anything look the budget ITS CALLED MILITARY COMPLEX WHERE MOST OUR MOEY GOES TO THE TOP 5 PERCENT..HALLIBURTON ALONE BUSH GRANDFATHER COMPANY MAKE BILLIONS OFF US ..TRUMP TRIED HE OVERBILLED THE GOVT AND TRIED TO USE HIS POSITION TO PAY BACK THE MILLIONS HE OWES TO RUSSIANS
@@patriciawhite1206 That is only the 5 percent. The remainder = Socialismen and centralized big government. Look at Europe - it doesn't work.
To be clear: Europe demographically speaking is in decline. The median age on the European Continent is 42 years. The birthrate on the European Continent is in decline. Europeans need to rethink their FOREIGN and DOMESTIC policies. Peace should be on their agenda for survival.

When Jamie Dimon is going to be made accountable for his role in the ignition of the economic crisis?
A massive pivot for the middle class and poor who end up paying for every mess. Rich are still getting richer than ever and the military industrial complex will continue with record profits. This will end one way or another.
Tool him almost 3 years to open up the voice. Abs tragic
Saudis love Potemkin villages.
Jamie Dimon should run for President of the United States!

Ukraine is punching itself out. Ultimately infrastructure, strategic depth, industrial capacity, logistics and above all money win the day. Ukraine is now a defunct country which is completely dependent on the collective West for EVERYTHING. Regardless of promises of MORE and brazen PROPAGANDA from the West, the whole endeavor is not sustainable by either the West or Ukraine in the long run. To say nothing about catastrophic Ukrainian losses of troops and equipment to date.
Ukraine was a $100B+ a year economy before the war. The total amount that has been given to Ukraine does not exceed $100B. Plus almost all of that is in the form of equipment that was kept in storage in the US and EU, every bit of equipment sent to Ukraine was used, none of it was produced *for* Ukraine. Where is your evidence for catastrophic failure? Russia's army, the 2nd biggest army in the world (supposedly) has still not been able to take all of Ukraine and now succumbs to spreading stupid non-sensical propaganda about Ukraine using nuclear weapons on their own territory, to which Ukraine responded by asking for a IAEA investigation on themselves! What you're saying is straight out of the Russian propaganda booklet. Since the very beginning Russia has been asking for Ukraine to just surrender, like they did in Crimea which now led to Russia invading again. They will not surrender, and to not keep on sending them equipment so they can carry on fighting (which they want) is in my opinion very immoral.
And RUSSIA is on life support don't worry cause NATO will pall the plug
good by Russia you won't be missed!!
You think that Russia can outlast the collection of countries that make up "the west"? Are you delusional? Everyone wants this war to end except Putin. When he stops, all the other countries will stop. The only way that he's going to get Ukraine is if "the west" lets him have it. It won't be from a military victory that depleted "the west's" resources to the point that they're unable to hold off Russia.
yes it is, but is cheaper proposition for EU than facing the russian in the Nordic, Baltics or Poland... even if they need to rebuild ukraine for hundreds of billions of dollar, still way cheaper than spending Tens of Trillions facing the russians in EU proper
Ok Russian bot
