Good tip to align things in the same hight is right click - go object copy the Z number in position on the object u think is aligned best and copy it in all the others- that way looks same :)

I think you did a great job thought. Looks good! Studie Skye sells landscaping set similar to Moss & Mink however they include a mesh bit you just apply the land texture to to make it seamless. Where is your pool in the video from btw? 😊

Get yourself a terrain editing tool & simplify your life! If you get the one I got, it's a prim & you just rez it & move it to the height you want the ground & click it.
It's harder if you want curves and stuff but it's a great first step that saves a lot of time

You did an awesome job! I've been on SL for 15yrs and I'm still on the struggle bus with landscaping 🫣🥹, editing the terrain can really be such a challenge, I have the vision of what I want but it gets lost in translation somehow, hehe. Keep at it don't give up!

This is my specialty! I love landscaping & architectural designs. Honestly, the align tool has become my BEST FRIEND it makes lining everything up accurately such a breeze. Before I would eyeball and have so many cracks in my builds I hated it & at one point was going to give up but decided to try again & found the align tool to work magic! Nonetheless, I think you did an WONDERFUL job for a beginner! Keep it up my love 🤎
Also, the stretch both sides tool can be very handy. Especially if you’re looking to make something the same size on both sides just click that.
