I was pretty much in the middle. Then ended up about 75% towards Alex after.
I got a nearly perfect score on my test, but got docked when the small pickup I was in did a weird lurch on a left turn. Lost a point for that.The instructor told me after that I was one of the most relaxed testers he ever had to grade... Which was impressive because he had a reputation for failing like 7 out of 10 people on their first go. I was given the option to explain parallel parking or demonstrate it, and I chose to demonstrate because it was easier. lol

If everyone drove as carefully as they did on their driving test, there would be much fewer accidents than there are now. The reason people suck at driving is because they just can't be bothered to put 100% attention when driving everyday for the rest of their lives
Actually you can fail for basically anything your instructor sees as "dangerous behaviour". I failed with only 5 minors because i was going 37 km/h in a 30 km/h zone lol

Let's be honest, anyone who takes a driving exam still sucks at driving. You can be confident and pass, but checking all the mirrors and stuff like that is important for a beginner. You're not supposed to look at them all the time, but at least check them.

Hey Guys! I just want to share with you, that today I've got my first car!! It's not a "big" car (like BMW, or Mercedes, or Audi), but a 10 years old Vauxhall/Opel Vectra with a 1.8 l petrol engine. But, this car (for me at least) is "bigger" than any other BMW or Audi or Mercedes. The reason behind is that this was the first car ever, that I ever driven. I was like 11/12 years old, when my father decided that he has to teach me how to drive, because it's his fatherly pride that I learned to drive from him. I'm 21 years old now, and my dad has got a new car, and he decided not to sell this awesome car, but to give it to me because I was driving it since i was 12-ish. So yeah, if to enter the contest, you have to comment, then I think this is the most valuable thing I can write today (not bad overused jokes or somethings like that). Either way, I was just absolutely happy to share it with you guys, I hope the ct community will understand my feeling to this car. Or not just a car, you could say a "teacher" :D. Anyways, yeah, it's 10 years old, but the emotional value of this car for me is like when you get a Mazda RX7 or a Subaru WRX STI in beautiful condition. Thank you, if you read it all! Have fun guys with the video and good luck :D (Sorry for the long sentences, but I am still in ave :D And sorry, if my english was bad, always working on improving it)

Actually in Romania, if you'd try something like this you'd be arrested on spot, because the exam is taken in the presence of a policeman, and obviously you can't bribe a policeman (well not with other people present of course :-) ).
Duddits Joe How does it feel like to take an exam with a policeman? Does it feel awkward? I recently took my driving test in Germany, and the only contact i had to a policeman was a police car behind me where he was mad that i kept to the speed limit lol
:-))) Awkward is at least said :-)), the cringiest moments are when your'e switching lanes, and you feel the stare on what your'e doing and how you use the signal stick :-)))

While looking out of the rear window, I just see how the examiner looks at me with a really grim faceXD. (In Germany, your driving instructor rides shotgun, and the examiner sits on the rear right seat)

Joshua Minke 1) In germany, you usually get huge exam cars (I drove in a bmw x3)
2) That's why he can basically see everything, for example my tachometer, how i shift, how i steer, how i look into mirrors and over my shoulders, where my head is turned and so on. Only thing he can't see is my pedals.
3)In case that I would do something dangerous, my driving instructor still had pedals on her side. If she would have had to use any of the pedals, there would have been a really irritating beeping sound through the whole car. Which basically means lol u failed.
4)But fortunely, i passed recently on my first try. So i guess i'm one of you guys now:)
5)Driving exams are not as 'strict' as in the uk. No stupid U HAVE TO LOOK FKIN EVERYWHERE BEFORE YOU TURN SOMEWHERE, No feeding the wheel, etc. So there isn't thaaaat much to look at anyway.
6)Omg having a driver license is so exciting:)

My first test to get my full licence was pretty much like Alex's, needless to say I failed. The test lady wasn't impressed by my perfectly timed full throttle merge, or my speeding thru a school zone. I passed the second time with fat bastard as the tester. 15 years and 600,000km later and I have had no at fault accidents. I have been rear ended twice, and i've had a vehicle wrote off while parked on the street.
