- I recently picked up some custom Star Wars Empire Strikes Back figures made by Pamro Toys, and thought I should review them as I really love the Glow in the dark Han Solo carbonite block he made. Based on the Kenner toys, these look great as additions to my vintage collection.

I make glow in the dark resin castings, too. I used a chocolate mold of Han Solo in carbonite to make castings.

Just managed to get one of these carbonite blocks. Can't believe it took a fan to do something so obvious, with the red thawing effect.

I liked that it was painted red, but still looked pretty green to me. I don't commonly look at custom creations -- but this had a good reproduction value to it.
If there's anything you think you'd change on them -- what do you think it'd be?
The ideas are great. I would probably have updated the stickers on the Carbonite block as I don't think they add much. I made some of my own stickers a while back, so I might just use those.
@@toypolloi the only thing I can think of is that the han solo probably can't be held up by the figures anymore, as it looks like a solid block.
But for custom items, I'd honestly say invest in a 3d printer and scanner for more intricate pieces. I've seen you edit your stickers before, and it doesn't feel much different for what I do to make things match up in Autodesk/solidworks/blender. It's helped more often than not.
Although, the main reason I come back is because of those famous Lego fixes
Why would you need to have figures hold it, when it’s Han emerging from the carbonite? I did see little holes on the back though, so it would be easy to hang from the wall in Jabba’s Palace.
@@namelessjedi2242 it originally went with boba fett's ship, and I've seen them posed like they were transporting it out of the ship

Hey toy polloi I live in the USA n I just went to a local toy show they had n scored 2 vintage battlestar galactica cylons n there in good shape except for the chrome is pretty much gone I was wondering if there was any way to send them to you n see if u could restore them for me for a price or whatever. Hey I was able to find a slave 1 from 1995 brand new still in the box, but it was missing the hanger door. Do you know where I can find that part?

They offer reproductions on Amazon, but definitely eBay -- you might have to do some scrubbing and cleanup on some badly damaged ones
