I was looking for this missing documentary and here it's uploaded again! ARTE had kindly responded to my comment that they don't have global rights for programs and their videos have different legal parameters and geographic restrictions. I'm viewing from Canada and hope this and other favorite ARTE documentaries will stay on UA-cam. Thank you!

Shopping tourism exists at many borders. For example, many Swiss buy in Germany.

Great upload! True reflection of being a market trader making your own products. Very few customers realise/see your hard effort to please them. But in the end it was my freedom(no boss) was the best, nomatter the few coins in your pocket! Would never swap it and redo it, only set aside/invest into the future more and earlier, pleased I did! Thanks for sharing!

32 Euros for a dry haicut in Poland. That is a bloody rip off.

I see. I talked to my sister, and she said, that it is indeed rather expensive. But generally speaking, cost of services in uk and poland are becoming closer each year, on the other hand, cost of living for example 1 sqm flat in manchester (500k people) cost as much as in wroclaw (also 500k people). So does services, food, cars, etc. Those times when you came here with couple of euros and lived as a king are far gone. Even people that lived in uk and germany are coming back, we more people going back to poland than emigrating towards west. Especially uk, since brexit, noone want to go there, because of visa troubles.

@@martin_93 Yes l have noticed a dramatic food price increase in polish shops in the uk. In fact so much so it is becoming more pricey than british ones. But Polish people in the Uk love their polish food and seem prepared to pay it. I understand many polish people are returning to Poland. But if they hold on they make get Uk citizenship. Keir Starmer of the Labour has promised to give all eu citizens livng in the Uk automatic british citizenship and full voting rights. While l agree property prices in Poland are in some places almost on par with the Uk l would say property in poland is built to a better quality. I have spoken with some Poles in the Uk and one of the reasons they do not return to live in Poland is because of the corruption. But Poland is a great country so l hope it continues to prosper.

I think €32 for haircut in Poland is too much. IT looks that those girls Are there to rip of Germans. On the other hand judging on amount of unnecessary they both wearing they need that much money. Even here in Melbourne hair cut on average is less than €32

The hairdresser ladies dont need cosmetics. They are very pretty as they are. Also, please respect each other as human beings (Mainly the elder German customers).
