Thanks bud. Its been a long time coming since the first days when i got the bug playing 18 wheels of steel across America edition. :) always wanted a home rig set up since way back then and finally have it now. :)
Thanks, I appreciate it. :). The shift extensions are 1 1/4 “ wood dowel and then covered with cloth sleeve. I drilled slightly undersized holes in the dowel and snug fit the shifter handle and the shifter shaft at other end. I had started with a g27 and a g29 but have since upgraded to a thrustmaster th8 for main shifter and the g29 for the other. Both were also customized with a click beetle in the th8 and a 3D rap shifter kit on the g29 to tighten up the shifter. Been using for about 2yrs and both still work well
REAL NICE!!! practicing to drive a simi while drinking alcohol and smoking a cigarette, I guess that is the professional way to drive a simi nowadays. do you also practice getting into a collision and killing another driver of yourself?
@@Kinghauler2012 It's pretty cool! Let me know if you have any questions about the hook up, or configuration. Just an FYI all gauges have to be electrical, and GPS speedometers do not work.
Is the rep button just there for looks or is there a was to make the two buttons separate in the game. With mine the park brake controls both red and yellow buttons
Only the yellow functions for truck brake but I have the trailer brake function on my right side steer column lever. What would be used as window spray is now the trailer brakes. I pull on lever and trailer brake applies, let off, brake releases. Almost just like a real truck. Just no spike for when parked
Merci. Came from a 1994 western star. I always wanted a KW dash but I’m very happy with this style. Sorry, I can speak and read fluent but my spelling is embarrassing. Lol. My apologies I didn’t respond sooner. Just saw your comment.
Nice still working on mine
Please mount the radio to the side of the monitor somehow or record from a different angle and upload longer videos of this setup it’s awesome
looks good man

Very nice!
Hi Mario we at Fueledtocreate make vintage custom truck shifters and parts. Would love to make something for your setup. If interested let me know.
That would be cool! I will for sure. Summer is winding down and I will need a new winter project soon. :)
I’m looking for a wheel like u have we’re did you buy it from
Got it off eBay last year. Can’t find the link atm but if I do will share. It’s made by UP. Not a sci wheel but cheaper version
United pacific .
Look like a ford dash
They were similar to this one but the ford was more rounded or had a curve to it. The Western star was more squared up but yes, i see the similarity
Lol
