Hi buddy, personally mileage has never really bothered me when buying a car but more so the service history and MOT history so providing that is fairly comprehensive and nothing stands out you should be fine 😊
I wouldn’t personally due to costs (insurance, running costs…) I think buy something fairly small, build up your no claims on your insurance and aim to buy one in a few years.
@@JoshKemponcars haha i thought it was dash or something i am currently looking at 16 plate with 34000 miles on clock would tou recommend it heard few horror stories as it will be a family daily car its also a 40d whats real world mpg please
Lovely car to drive, super comfortable to be in. Real world mpg is probably realistically low 30’s and as for horror stories you’ll find them for every car, it’s the luck of the draw sometimes. I read so many stories about my Audi that it kept me up at night but never had a single problem with it so not sure what I was worrying about. Just service it regularly and you’ll be fine. Thanks for taking the time to watch my content and leaving a comment.
@@JoshKemponcars Only know this bcoz I’ve shortlisted a couple of 40D for my use..hopefully one of them will line up - I hope u will defintely recommend??
I have the same vehicle but with a black front grill.. and yes it is a monster. Chocolate brown interior is very nice. Good review except you repeat yourself quite a bit...
MrMrp69 Pickering any issues - I’m looking to buy one 2014-2016 and nearly all MOTs history show some kind of oil leak from various parts of the engine ???? Kinda confused now 🤔.cheers
I have an 18 plate X5 40d and the real world round town mpg is 25. That said it is a fabulous car and surprisingly quick for its size.
Nice to know, thanks for taking the time to watch my content 😊
Yeh I get 24/25 mpg
This is the same engine that's in the BMW 640d. The torque on that is 620 NM .
45mpg? Only in your dreams. Expect 30-35. Round town less than 30. Great video though. Love my 40d.
Hey,looking to buy 65 plate x5 f15 40d with 82k miles on the clock,it is worth buying for that mileage?cheers

@@JoshKemponcars Thanks a lot for advice Josh, you're doing a great job, keep up the good work!!🥳
Thanks means a lot 😊🙏🏼
Great video , that m badge on the back needs to go though
Thanks and agreed! I debadge all my cars regardless so that's the first thing I would do too! Thanks for taking the time to watch my videos 😎🙏
Did anyone find where that bloody rattle was coming from? That would drive me insane!😖
That rattle is nasty
would you recommend this as a first car?

love the accordion music
😂😂
Nice video
It’s an awesome car... etcetera 😉
Indeed…etc… 😉
Great video , thanks
No problem, thanks for watching 🙏🏼
Hey could you tell me what real world mpg figures you are seeing? Thanks
Hi there, about 30mpg is a real world average.
24 mpg
Yeah mine varies from 28 to 32 depending on the drive, motorway even more than that
Brilliant car
Whats the constant rattle noise?
It was my camera mount!! Bloody thing! 😂

@@JoshKemponcars thanks Josh, i love my a5 but need something bigger to get in and out of. Have a great Xmas
No problem, thanks Merry Christmas to you too.
Great video and car but get that m badge off..! 😂😂
Nah seriously tho great video 🔥🔥
Thanks for the feedback, appreciate it! Haha agreed! 😂
Liked the video - great review, I believe the torque is 630NM & not 450NM
Thank you for taking the time to view my content, appreciate the feedback. My error! 😬

No worries, I mean personally I don’t really understand the point of powerful SUV’s but each to their own.
Well you gave the figure in lbs ft so it's probably the same as 630nm
Great cars but 45mpg is unrealistic. Expect around 34/35 on runs and 25 around town

Thanks Cemeron and I agree. All sorted now. 😊🤙
I’m buying this soon - what are the actual city and motorway mpg figures? Thanks
@@S.Mir786 I would say 20 and below around town and between 25-30mpg on the motorway.
S. Mir I have an 18 plate X5 40d and it returns about 22-25mpg round town and around 32 mpg on a long run.
