    This video is perfectly edited. Very good camera angle, we can see both the players and the clock, 2D board accurately synchronized with the video, no stupid music, no bullshit. This is the best way to enjoy a chess game. Thanks

    At 7:29 I'm not sure why Carlsen didn't just Rook A2, I'm pretty sure that move just wins the game because Nakamura has to answer with Rook A2 and Carlsen can respond with a free pawn C3 and applying pressure on both knights unguarded. I'm not sure how Nakamura would get out of that one

    • @chf.j4233
      @chf.j4233 4 роки тому

    • @Blight1
      @Blight1 4 роки тому

      @@chf.j4233 Ah yes, I'm dumb for missing that guard, but it is still a free pawn with pressure on both, he basically can't move either without losing the other for free, and if he tries to move the king to pressure the rook he'd be allowing Magnus to reset the board by pulling the rook back to B3 because he'd have a defensive and offensive range from there between B8 and B1. That said the game would play out completely differently because Nakamura would probably move knight from C4 after losing the free pawn and you can't get the other knight for free because it's guarded by the king, so you'd essentially get a full reset +1 pawn no matter what.

      I think more abt time.. carlsen left left with no time to try to win. And in chess rules if ur times up the other guy win, but if ur times up and the other person has almost nothing left than its a draw. So might as well he call the draw then. Then wait another 2 or 3 turns to get the same result

      @@alexreid2393 well, after Kg6, white plays Kf4 forcing black king to go on f6. Now, white to move but....stop this position and imagine the same one with Kf1,g2,Kf3 setup. Stalemate, right? ;) The only requested ability for white is just getting king oppisition moving carefully time by time one square behind the pawn and soon after in front of the other king and so on, until reaching the last rank. Hoping to have been so much clear as possible, according to my little knowledges and my poor english.

      because after the exchange of rooks, white king can capture the pawn as the black king does not have enough time to get back and defend its pawn. Therefore it will only be two kings on the board.

      @@alireza8395 acho que você analisou mt errado amigo, o rei branco não pode capturar o peão preto pois depois do rei preto capturar a torre, o rei branco ainda vai fazer um movimento pra chegar do lado do peão, e logo em seguida o rei preto volta pra onde estavar, sendo assim não tem mais como capturar , porém é empate de qualquer forma pois o rei branco não vai deixar o peão ser promovido!
