This Dutch army woodland camo backpack is a monster. It's got a full frame, integrated padding, adjustable straps, side pockets, and best of all... two removable side packs. These smaller removable day packs even come with their own shoulder straps. You can even hook up two and wear one as a smaller backpack. The main pack includes a molle system so you can add all your favorite pouches and pack attachments.

You forgot to mention that both side bags can be zipped / mated together to form a backpack.

Looks like my Lowe alpine Saracen. 100L and the pouches are an extra 10L each. Good storage for skis or poles under the pouches.

Nice if make so the two side packs can be married together, then have another configuration with addition of 1 or 2 zippers - snaps - whatever’s smart. Thanks

Yes the two packs have adjustable straps as well so they can either be used as a shoulder bag or a small backpack using both straps. They're very versatile.

Brits call them rocket pockets. They also fit the Brit other arms 60L Bergen, and they two can be made into a Ali weird 20L daypack with a separate harness: I guess you could cache the big bag and go with 20l and carry v little extra weight

Is the back, and belt padding/frame removable? I purchased one from ebay that seems to have everything except the lower, and upper back/shoulder padding, and the belt padding. You wouldn;t happen to have an extra pad for sale?

hé imagine this: this is just the 60 Liter version for lesser fit groups and trainee's. the big boys all have 120Liter backpacks

Well this camo is already out of use. I've joined the Netherlands Army Reserves, and I've received the new NFP camo.

Airforce base woensdrecht still uses the old camo even for new recruits.. kinda like it though :)

Same as in the British army, the old DPM camo got replaced with MTP. But for those of us (even ex-forces) who want to go out bushcrafting or whatever without looking like wannabe soldiers, old camo patterns are better. Plus I don't like the MTP. I have the old Brit army DPM basha and bivvy bag, plus the old Dutch DPM poncho. Now looking at getting the Dutch Stingray rucksack, the one in this vid by the looks of it. Also German Flecktarn is pretty cool as hardly anyone recognises it here in the UK, I have a nice Goretex jacket in that. But I wouldn't wear it if I were in Germany, for the reason I wrote above.

    The commando rucksack100l is awesome!!!!
    80l main body.
    A 20 l day pack.
And the ability to gain access to the main body from the top and from underneath!
