Who cares what opposing fans think and feel about anything the Dodgers do. 😁Any anger is misdirected and should be towards THEIR own team's ownership for not taking risks and producing for their fanbase.🤷♂ Go Friedman! GO DOGERS!🤘
Dodgers have been spending but nobody had a problem with it cause they could keep mocking us with "first round exits" and "mickey mouse ring", NOW that they cant use that, all they do is cry and bitch
Yup. We heard all the spend a billion and first round exit talk. It was 2-1 Padres and the haters really came out. 😂. All that tongue waggling. 🤣Talk about melt down.
One thing I disagree on is ppl weren't expecting ohtani to get 460M, everyone was thinking closer to 600M+ even with the arm injury. He's shown what he can do on both sides on top of bringing in insane amts of money to the Angels. Even 700M was in the cards and it'd still be a steal for him. But Ohtani knew if the team paid him closer to what he was actually worth, they wouldn't be able to spend elsewhere, so he took a lot less money for the dodgers to build a stronger team around him.
The Walker Bueller bullpen move is very similar to Orel Hershiser bullpen move. 2024 and 1988 share some interesting moments: 1. Bueller/Hershiser. Walker wearing the 55 jersey at the parade is more related to how they both volunteered to pitch as a closer. Both times they didn’t let the manager know. Both right handers. 2. Can’t forget Gibson and Freeman walk offs. Both left handed. Both hobbled by injuries. Both near the same exact spot in the stands. 3. Both 2024 and 1988 teams’ previous WS championship were shortened seasons. 2020 and 1981 4. Previous to the shortened season WS rings, both had lost multiple WS. 1974, 1977, 1978 and 2017 and 2018. 5. And last but not least both won in 5 games and both won away from home.
This guy got 2 wins in the playoffs. he was good, and actually damm funny. look i made the playoffs, look i got two wins in the playoffs. Congrats, stay healthy just stay healthy
First the League refused to give Dodgers their 2017 ring that was taken from them by cheaters, then their 2022 ring was questioned because it's a shortened season. I just want the Dodgers to go on a WS winning spree over the next 10 years. Rack up those rings like nobody's business, and we will see how many fans dare to question the legitimacy of those rings.
This whole episode was about the pitcher the Dodgers just signed and a pitcher who pitched for the Dodgers in the World Series. If you're looking for a podcast that never mentions that other teams exist, I guess this one isn't for you. But we're not going to ignore the big news about the Dodgers just because it involves fans of other teams.
You’re wrong. The deferrals do impact the CBT. You can debate the magnitude by which it does but it is wrong to tell listeners that it does not impact CBT. I’m not a dodgers fan. I assume 99% of your listeners are so it’s just an echo chamber anyway.
I know exactly how the CBT works. This has nothing to do with fandom. It has to do with the fact that the only reason Ohtani got a "$700 million contract" is because it was actually a $460 million contract with a bunch of interest. And just like every other team that has ever done a deferred contract (i.e., all the teams that are good with calculators) the CBT number is the present-day value. The only time fandom comes into it is because no one cared until the Dodgers did it.
Every team had a chance to sign Snell last year and lock him in for a long term contract but they didn’t. Too late to cry me a river now.
Glad i 😅love dodgers.or I'd be crying 😢 like everyone else. Go Dodgers go.😮!!!!!!!!!!!! Looks great for many years .jim yohe pahrump nv

The highest anyone guessed was $600M. Most people thought $450-500M until very late in the process.

Ben Casparius. 💪👍
Even small market teams could have signed Snell or anyone else, but they don't. Cry about your owners, not the Dodgers.
Happy Blake snell join dodgers organization
The more crying by the opposition, the sweeter it is. Dodgers world champs!
To all the naysayers of the LAD signing anyone they choose: "We don't give a f**k" and "S**k on these nuts" 🤣😂
They hate us cause they can't be like us 😂
apparently we are so fking spoiled who are born on 3rd bases. So what? lol

Who cares what other fans say! Keep it positive and about the Dodgers!
This is weak. You’re acting like a Padre fan.
