German novel (and later movie) "Look who's back" did the same with Hitler emerging from decades of slumber and ending up in modern day Germany, getting mistaken for an impersonator. It's brilliant, regardless of your political tastes. Most mainstream American satire is just too biased / polarised to be any good... but that applies to pretty much anything American...
