When I found your channel you were playing x4 and sometimes i could see that there was something wrong. This isn't about this particular video. Just wanna say i've lived a similar situation. Internal flights of how i should be. Dark thoughts.. Gaming, series, movies, loneliness, not thinking myself worth it for a relationship. Luckily i found myself on my own but at the expense of time. I am now married and living pretty close to your country mate. You are probably now too busy living your life and that is great! You know why i cane back here to check you? i hear some retro music and it reminds me of you. ahah
Thank you. I've been hit pretty hard lately with knowing i haven't been doing anything useful. I'm coming around and picking myself back up but evidently i still rely on the internet.
Glad to hear you're picking yourself back up. The internet is a useful tool and nothing with with using it, just as long as it doesn't become a crutch :)
watup ricky. you remind me of the new wizard char in bg 3, btw. or he reminds me of you. btw you might like duncan trussell. his podcast w/ theo recently covers some of the same stuff youre talking about. anyways man hope youre doing well with your goals and dreams and stuff. much respect. but just remember that you were never wrong / bad in the first place.
This is really good advice. I mostly overcame my negative thoughts by just time passing and good people standing by me. One good person in particular, really. That way takes a looooong time. Oddly, the pandemic was a good time for me. I realised that all hardships I had experienced in life had made strong enough to weather being stuck abroad without a job or a home, losing access to my most valued belongings, and my two-year relationship almost falling apart. I was strong enough to deal with all that because I had had a sucky life before that point, largely driven by my own negative thoughts. And realising that was the final step in becoming a more stable confident person. But man, let me tell you, if I had heard advice like yours, I'd have got there so many years earlier.
Nice to see someone being open with their thoughts. Found your stuff pretty interesting, Ricky. Wish you the best with what you want to do. Your thumbnail game certainly has gotten pretty interesting now.

Fantastic way to put it 😆 I may have to use that. Thanks, Grim.
