Made a little editing error! At 4:37 it should say "@itslivb" NOT "title". Oops! Almost never happens haha but I have had the most hectic week moving and clearly was a bit tired when I made this video. Next week's video will be in my new house!!! Love you guys hope you enjoy the recipe!
I just made these and omg! Absolute heaven! I didn't have brown sugar so I used maple sugar instead and a flax egg instead of applesauce... completely out of this world! Thanks for an amazing recipe!
That looks amazing, I’m obsessed with everything chai! Little hack for parchment paper placement that my friend showed me and blew my mind: wet the paper and get rid of the excess water, now it should be completely moldeable and adapt to the container perfectly ✨
Okay, so I just made these, and omf(reaking)g they are SO. GOOD. I have allergies to gluten, rye, barley, oat, eggs, and peanuts. It’s been impossible to find baked goods, even recipes, because if it doesn’t have gluten it usually has oat. If it doesn’t have oat or gluten, it usually has dairy or eggs. I switched out the flour for gluten free all-purpose baking flour and it came out perfectly! I also LOVE blondies so much. They’re soft, gooey, crisp at the edges, and so buttery/caramel tasting. An absolute winner and keeper!
i LOVE that you eat the food at the end of your videos and describe it thoroughly to us. sets you apart and is so satisfying to hear before cooking! also love the recipe videos’ brevity! dope dope dope! thanks Liv!
I honestly was looking for a Vegan Blondie brownie and I happen to find your video. Honestly I never thought of a Chai brownie and Vegan to boot. YUM. I am so trying. Thank you for the inspiration
Just made these….10/10 I just dusted with powdered sugar and they’re honestly so beautiful. Will be baking these for a function on base to help raise money ❤
Now that I've got to know a bit better about you through the podcasts, the experience to watch your videos is different, it's very nice :) Also, the blondies look super good!
this is so helpful because i love brownies but i'm allergic to chocolate (or cacao, whatever) it is even better as caramel is my fav sweet thing in this world..
Kitsun3mi yes you can. Make sure it counts the same measure. Like for instance, one cup of vegan butter can be replaced to one cup of coconut oil or vegetable oil (and just to let you know, I think that hard form of vegetable oil is vegan butter).
I just watched this, then walked into my living room with a stricken look on my face. My husband was like "what's wrong?" and I said "you know I said I wanted to eat healthier and stop baking?" and I showed him the thumbnail of this video. He actually held my shoulders and told me I can "be strong" lmao
I made these! The flavours were awesome, very fragrant with a spicy/sweet taste - just like a Chai latte. However, my batch turned out more like a cake than brownie.. I was disappointed.
I don't know why but the batter turned out dry and thick like cookie batter. I don't know what I did wrong. I followed the recipe exactly. Now it's thin and hard like bark. ;(
after some experimentation, i found it helped massively to use about 30g more of butter, and add the sugar, apple, sauce and vanilla to the melting butter in the pan. compared to combing them in a bowl , heating them together helped the mixture to become even more caramell-y! even then i would probably recommend using twice the recipe to fill the same size tin, as they do come out quite thin! xx
@@catherinebiermann7940 Thanks for the encouragement to keep trying to bake & not give up. I live on my own so I also don't bake because I don't think it is worth baking for myself.
David Mcgregor I get it. When I want to make something I can’t or don’t want to eat all myself I take the extra to a neighbour or into work for my co-workers.
Thanks everyone for the comments. I’m not good at cooking and in my city there’s no coconut sugar. Let‘s say I wanna substitute sugar with honey. Does it work?? What’s the proportion of sugar vs honey? Thanks
Mathias i don’t why you got so offended lol I’m just politely asking her to make healthier recipes. I guess it’s better that I never click on her videos anymore then 🤷🏻♀️
There is no chai in these, they’re just blondies with nutmeg lol. I would consider changing the title, if you look up other chai recipes on UA-cam everything actually contains chai...

How did they turn out?

Also, the blondies look super good!
Yum!! I just picked up your cookbook this morning. I keep telling myself no more cookbooks, but then another delicious book comes out. :-)
I know right?? So hard to resist
These blondies look so delicious! My mouth is watering just watching this video
I swear Liv B looks like a cross between Amy Lee, Dakota Johnson and Amanda Seyfried!!😮
Omg, that couldn't be a more perfect comparison! Spot on 😂
Random fact: hate it when people say CHAI TEA...you're saying TEA TEA literally.
But OHMYGOD. Wish I had an oven right about now.
subi subi yeah but for westerners chai means “that type of tea” rather than tea in general.
@@rosemarybruce6290 I got that. Just saying you're saying 'give me a tea tea'. :)
I always thought blondies were just brownies made with white chocolate...these look lush and super easy!
Liv's makeup in this video is on pointe
I love how simple your recipes are!!! So happy I found your channel
So glad you made a dessert without chocolate! I recently developed an allergy to chocolate and its hard not eating it
I just bought your book off of amazon and will well hopefully arrive tomorrow i can not wait
well this is a unique recipe I haven't seen before! one day when i'm not lazy i'll try to make this!
this is so helpful because i love brownies but i'm allergic to chocolate (or cacao, whatever)
it is even better as caramel is my fav sweet thing in this world..
If anyone is wondering, you can get her wooden spoon at hallmark!
Those look super yummy. I just started craving sweets again. Def gonna try this one!

They look sooo good and chewy!
These look and sound soooooo good!! Going to make these tomorrow/today (Thursday)!!! Love your recipes 😊
Your next cookbook has to be just vegan desserts. That would be awesome. These look incredible.
Just made these today. So delicious!
OMG. Going to get applesauce first thing in the morning 😍
Looks delicious! Definitely going to try this out ❤️
They look so delicious!

This looks SO GOOD!!!😭😍🤤💗🙌🏻
Making these immediately.
I am definitely going to try this recipe!
This video look like a fall edition video 😍❤🍂🍁
I’ve been on a chai kick lately and OmG!😲❤️😋
I just made your muffin recipe lol looks like I’ll be making these next ❤️
Those sound soo good. Do you think they would also work with coconut or any other oil? I ralely have vegan butter at home so that's easier for me
You could easily use melted coconut oil, it just won't taste as buttery but will still be amazing!
Can I sub coconut oil or vegetable oil for the vegan butter?
Kitsun3mi yes you can. Make sure it counts the same measure. Like for instance, one cup of vegan butter can be replaced to one cup of coconut oil or vegetable oil (and just to let you know, I think that hard form of vegetable oil is vegan butter).
Well looks like I'm going to be spending the entire week baking 😂

I am going to fall out with both you and Sweet Simple Vegan you came up with a baking recipe and I can't bake. I am sure it will taste great.😢😝
David Mcgregor Everyone can bake. It’s just very important to follow measurements and directions exactly when you’re a beginner baker. You CAN do it!

Do you know if these can be frozen? I would love to try these, but I can’t eat them so fast. Thanks for sharing ✌️
Sarah R You could just cut the recipe in half
Oh haaaaalllleee yes
I love your lipstick!! what brand/shade is it?
Use chickpea liquid as egg it works better
These look 😍🤤😍❤️
Yum! 🤤🙌
Does she have a hair care routine? Because she has my dream hair lolol
You forgot the black pepper!!
Thank you so much
Thank you!! I feel like I’m the only one on this planet who literally HATES chocolate, even the smell of it makes me nauseous 🤣
Is it okay to use glutenfree fluor? Hugs❤
Can I substitute coconut oil for the vegan butter?
Did I miss the chia?
Hello Liv! I don’t have a nutmeg on hand, what can I use as a substitute?
I would use allspice maybe or a mix of cinnamon and ground cloves?
HI Liv! Am i missing something here? Where do i find the written recipe? :)
Have you checked her website?
replacement for apple sauce? could we use flax?
simply.s someone else in the comments said they made it with flax egg and they turned out delicious 😊
Mmmmm 😍😍😍
Anyone know a good substitution for the vegan butter and brown sugar?
TheSunnyD01 I feel like coconut sugar and coconut milk would do best
Omg 🤤🤤🤤
What’s vegan butter made of ??
vegetable fat?
Usually oils.
I'm doing water fasting but couldnt help to torture myself
Cardamom would’ve been nice in it
Can you try to replace processed sugar in your future recipies so that they’re more healthy? xx
Can't you just sub it out with whatever sweetener you choose? :)
For the brown sugar, coconut sugar has the same caramely taste :)
Coconut sugar works well

This looks gross
Sam Krawly hhhmmm. Sounds like u just want to take the opportunity to be rude
Sam Krawly Good thing no one is forcing you to eat them!
Where did you bought the gold knife?? 😍😍
They look so fucking good omg but is there anything I can use instead of Apple sauce?
rosegvnn a flax “egg” would also work
