Dear Lisa, I find this a very fun technique and I will definitely try it! I think you can do lots of different designs, and I really like yours, but then I always love your soaps! I do get what you mean though with the design not going the whole way through, but maybe one can do the dustpan pour on top of eachother so there are different designs as you use the soap. Looking forward to watching your other video, and thank you again for a great teaching video🙏❤️
They are groovy for sure but, I'm in your camp on this Lisa. I like to see the design through the entire soap. That black and white had me mesmerized while you were pouring it LOL! Thank you for another fantastic video !! 💛
Ooh was definitely interesting to watch! The interesting technique you used on the "canvas" will still give interest as the bar is used. Can't wait to see the "second try". Thanks for sharing!! 😊
You know Lisa it looks like a cool morphed butterfly with like a rainbow underneath to me but it's really cool to see you as he used to say 1000 braces girl or soffer turn into a totally gifted what you've always been, to a cool coming into your own experimental creations so bravo you're the best very awesome 😎
It is interesting and your soap look great. But, I am glad you said that you don't really care for a soap that has the design only on the top and doesn't go through the entire bar. This is what I was thinking as you were making this design challenge. Then that made me think about your four seasons soap that changed as the soap was used--so fabulous. I won't be cleaning my dustpan to try this design.
I could watch this process all day long. I can see geodes or animal prints coming out of this if that's what someone wants. By the way, I'm enjoying the new music. It's so upbeat.
I absolutely agree with your conclusions! I like to see designs go right through the soap too, and not be just on the top. Plus, it's a lot of faffing. Haha. But you got some very interesting looking soaps out of it, so well done you. I love to see people push the creative boundaries. ❤️
I love this design; but I see what you mean about a design not going all the way through, vs. one that does go all the way through. I actually don't use your soaps for cleaning my hands; they are on my mantlepiece where I can see them every day! Can't wait to see what you do next, you are so talented and creative!
Pretty far out! I even like how you did the four colors with white inserted throughout using the ketchup squeeze bottle. I understand how it isn't your favorite method of making a soap design but it is nice to see something completely different every once in a while. You accepted the soap club challenge and you pulled it off beautifully!
Lisa, you did a great job; so fun to watch. This was extra special for me! I recently took a break from soaping and got into...acrylic pouring! (I just mixed a batch of pouring medium) I haven't tried this technique yet, but it's on my list.
Wow... It's like looking at a piece of graphic art! I watched your video, wondering what images you would create using a dustpan! Black and white contrasting with the colors of the rainbow also look really cool!❤
I probably won't do this technique. I am a fan of designs throughout the bar, also. Plus I am not fond of any dough wastage and it seemed there may be some. But it was interesting to watch, for sure! Cheers 👍💕
@@IDreamInSoap I agree that trying be techniques is smart. You may find something that you love. Once I get my soap studio up and rubbing again, I want to join the club to get challenged to learn more. I've only made a few soaps so far but I love the artistry.
You can also do an hombre with a column pour. I agree with everything you said . I like the design all the way through the soap. I would not do this one. Thank you for showing us I was curious about the dust pan swirl. And your results are cool on the surface.
Nice soap … I’m with you not sure about this … but I’m going to have a go at doing layers …. Similar to the kiss pour soap you made ….. I like designs all through too . Thanks for sharing 🧼🧼🐝
Just a thought…I know it would be a long process but how about layering the soap so that a unique pattern builds up through out the bar, that way, the more it’s used the more it changes. None the less, loved what you did with the pattern and how it came out :)
I wonder what a multilayered soap with each layer a dustpan technique would look like. Reminds me of your kiss pour soap sort of. I love that technique of yours. My attempts at that design never got as good as yours, but I love how each layer reveals a cool design as the bar is used.
@@IDreamInSoap Funny! What I meant was using the dustpan pour for one layer, letting that layer firm up, then adding another dustpan layer with maybe a different design or color scheme. I was referring to your five layer kiss pour soap that used different colors and a slightly different pour each time. But with the dustpan pour you can do different designs and slide those off beautifully on each layer. Designs really different than kiss pour allows. Anyway, a fun idea and always a joy to watch your amazing work!
Oh, I really love it!!! I haven’t watched one of your videos in a long time I’m sorry, not you just me and life. But if I remember correctly you are much more in your element with intricate detail, so I get what you’re saying about it being on one side etc. However; the colors you used still made a beautiful and interesting bar throughout, past the awesome top layer. I’m no one special but I love the soap and I’ve always enjoyed watching your videos ❤ I always thought you had a very “original” style❣️☮️💟 🧼
😃I LOVE your videos and products!!!! Exceptional soap and so masterfully created!!! I do not like your choices of music - instrumental sounds would be so much better than the super-sad lyrics. Just an observation. Thank you for sharing your extraordinary creativity and expertise!!!!!!
They look a bit like geodes! I personally like how they turned out. I wonder how this technique would work in a 4 layer soap? Maybe too fiddly and lengthy to make it practicable, but would give designs all the way through.
Thanks a lot, yes I think it would work as layers. I did a similar thing with the kiss pour and it gives a good effect all the way through anv nice layers at the side
I can't believe it! You and I had a similar design idea! I did black and white then every once in a while I dropped in a color. I'm trying to figure out how to do a UA-cam video, because I videoed my first pour. I thought it was a fun technique. My second try was fun too, but I drew stars and threw blotches of white to look like the galaxy. But when I poured it none of that came out! Hahahaha I'm hoping as I use the soap more pictures will come out. Interesting to see. Thanks for the video!
I have a technique that I came up with that's my own. It's the blue pop technique took from an acrylic pour with my own twist on it but it's really cool because it actually ends up looking like roses when you're done. Which I've always wanted to share however with the help and we happen to have my 12th surgery and all of that and living in my van for 3 months during the winter I'm having to sell basically all of my tools Butters oils everything is brand new hasn't even been to that in the box on most of the things and UA-cam equipment computer's, you name it you can open up your own brick-and-mortar Spa cosmetic candle making shop with what I have to sell. Molds fragrances everything so top quality bought from some of the best cosmetic. Unfortunately I don't know or I'm not experienced enough to know where to go to let people know and show the pictures of everything I have it's all my cloud. And I have very very limited time to sell them whatever it's really not even about the money. I just want someone to be able to get it before too much time goes by you know but I'm not text savvy and I have no idea where to go to let people know how to get them if anyone knows our can let me know I would greatly appreciate it someone that might be wanting to get into soap making organic soap making or whatever that may be doesn't have the money or what not please let me know I would appreciate it thank you so much. Lisa if this is not okay with you you can erase it though 😐
I love this! I watch a lot of acrylic pouring videos. I thought this video was fun to watch!!!! Thank you for this quality video!!!!!

I love how different art media can inspire each other. I’m interested to see your second soap and to hear your further thoughts.
Thanks so much, a bit of a spoiler, my view of the technique doesn't change much 😊😊
I love it! Black and white and one or two colours is my favourite colour scheme.
Thanks so much ❤️
I'm blown away! You're a true artist.

Very cool! Who would have thought? I appreciated hearing your thoughts at the end and that you prefer designs going all the way through the soap.

first time I have liked the process so much. you make soap look like a paper and pen .
