Thanks for the video, I’ve seen a lot of recommendations on the triad. Do you know if the blanket coverage will prevent them from coming back next year? Maybe another application in the late fall to kill those seeds/root systems underground? Any help is appreciated.. my whole neighborhood is dandelion and I’ve been using a grandpa weeder and quinclorac to keep mine under control.

I gave in a bought a grandpa weed puller- specifically the Corona weed puller. It's actually really nice being able to go out for a couple minutes each night to pop weeds (and clumping grass) without kneeling and getting dirty. The weed killers (tenacity and speedzone) seem to work slower this time of the year in NJ simply cause we have fluctuating temps where the plant draws the chemical in at different rates- I somehow end up with dandelions that still bloom frosted white while dying. You to need to manually remove some of these to nip them early.
I use cool power in my business on the early round. Works really well in these cool temps

I ordered a bottle a few days ago and I’m waiting for it to arrive. My question is. Should I mow my lawn before I treat the weeds or after I treat them? My backyard is probably 50-75% weeds. The prior owners of my property did no lawn maintenance at all and I couldn’t afford to sod my property right now.

I've managed to control most weeds in my lawn however I now have a big problem with grass weeds especially poa annua, how can I get rid of this? Its so invasive and is now taking over my much loved lawn. Its spring time here in NZ so all the seeds have now popped up.

Any advice for a chemical-free way to kill English ivy? It's coming over from the neighbour's & to keep up, I would have to go out at least twice a week for an hour.
Decompact soil if possible. (Which is actually one of the Jobs of this plants root system) Fertilize with calcium =dandelion's gone. The plants job is to pump calcium from the deep within the soil.

How far apart do you have to do applications? I am planning on applying Tenacity in Sept a couple weeks before overseeding, but my lawn is rife with weeds this summer and thinking of doing an application of Tenacity or Triad now
The label will tell you. Typically 21-28 days but check the label
I over seeded in early April. Can I use this product in late May? I have clover, creeping Charlie, and moss that I want to treat.
Probably but I would check the label to be sure.
How long until children or animals can walk on the grass after you spray?
I just use a regular old knife after a rain, cut down as far as you can the root and extract the dandelion. Granted, I dont have a carpet of them. It takes a few rounds, they are hard to spot with just one round.

So we have fine blade zoysia and dogs that are in yard just about all the time, don’t want to kill the frogs either……, what is the best friendly thing I can use to kill the weeds?
I would say this product but keep the dogs off it til it is dry (probably 2 hours or so) and you should be fine 👍

I can tell you never drank Dandelion wine. The best hard wine you can taste. What sucks it takes a long time for the process to mature.. The root has the highest amount of vitamin minerals and fiber. DO NOT BE AFRAID LAWN MAN

So no the trees are bare n flowers are still frozen underground before they sprout....yes dandelions are the first food for the bees around me...a few weeks later wild violet pops up too to feed the bees
