I’ve driven past that shop on my way to work for ages and never gone in. But now you’ve opened my eyes to the knitting books, I’m going there on Tuesday . Thanks Jane
It was lovely Meeting you at Dungog and seeing your beautiful knitted designs in person. The little Bella dresses are so cute. Looking forward to your vest pattern release
those baby knits are just too cute!! fwiw i like the teal green on you, sometimes you surprise yourself when you go outside your regular colour palette.
Thank you so much for your kind words. The teal green looks pretty amazing, and I am surprised how much blue the camera picked up, as the vest is actually a bright clear green. I will see if I can take a picture with more true colours and show it in the next video. Regardless though I am very pleased with it, and the fact that is outside the normal colour pallette.
Beautiful projects Jane. Can I ask what is the yellow shawl in the end of video picture? The yarn and colour I would particularly like to know if you can - and the pattern ha. Just beautiful 💛🙏
👏 Jubiii , jeg er en megaheldig vinder, TAK! 🧶🧶 Også mange tak for fin inspiration og et hyggeligt afsnit som altid, Jane. Fine sager du strikker og så smukke fotos. 🧶🧶
Love the vest and can’t wait for the pattern. I wish I had been able to attend The Knitters Pinic. I had so much fun last year. Do you have any tips for knitting with two strands please? Apologies if you have talked about this in another podcast.
Would have loved to meet you at the Knitter's Picnic. Maybe you want to come and say hello at the Fibrefest in Wyong in October? My advice for knitting with two (or more) strands held together would be to just knit as normal but with a bit more attention to the stitches, to ensure both strands are included in each stitch. If not noticing only one strand was picked, it can be fixed when getting to the stitch on the next round. It is easy to pick up and include the missing strand, as it will just sit idle behind the work. I might take up you question, and talk about in one of the next videos. Thank you so much for the idea.
@@mindfulmaking thank you for your reply my friends and I attended Wyong last and I’ll definitely go this year. I especially loved the fashion parade. I’ll see you there.
Hello from South Africa, please tell me what the pattern name is for the pullover ( the 80s one). I also need one like that.😊 ooo it's your own design 🎉 I'll wait patiently....please tag me when you publish it.
Will do, and keep an eye out for the test knitting which will hopefully start in 4-6 weeks. You might be interested in joining and get early access to the pattern.
Beautiful photos of the night sky from the house-sitting.
And the new project from the book looks great
Thank you! I really enjoy knitting the project and it is now almost done. Hope you enjoy the project you are working on at the moment.
