I so loved this episode, it felt like you were in my home again and I so enjoyed having you here! Even Scott said “hi Jane” when he saw you pop up on the tv ☺️ sorry to hear about the colour difference in your cardigan, but I think that once you’re wearing it, the difference won’t be that noticeable 🤞 good luck for the sock knitting class, next weekend! Also, I loved the footage of you on the scooter! That looked like so much fun!
Thank you again for having me, Ally. I keep on smiling whenever I think of our weekend in Adelaide. Those scooters are so much fun, and trying to film the ride balancing the phone on a tree branch was a laughable experience in itself. I loved riding along the creek / river next to the University. Such a beautiful space.

what a shame about the flowers cardigan. i think that the lower contrast colourwork can look really lovely and cosy, hope you find another lovely project to use this yarn combo!
I will find another project for that colour combo, because I love it too.
Good to see you Jane and that trip to Adelaide looked wonderful! Our visit there will be for flights in and out transitioning on our family trip to Oz from the US. I hope to visit some wineries in Victoria at least, and of course yarn shops in Sydney and Brisbane if I can get to them (and if there are any festivals that would be super--we leave just before Bendigo sadly!). Your acquisitions look wonderful! That's too bad about the cardigan colors...I suppose even if you overdye the whole thing at the end, they will take the dye differently. I hope it works out for you and wish you a wonderful, knitting-filled Easter!

Hello!! Lovely podcast!! I’m working my way through wips, I have sworn off small gauge garments, as I have started too many and as usual overwhelmed, I did finish an all over colorwork. cardigan by Kate Davies which was sheer torture , and now working on another all over Colorwork crew neck by Kate as well, it has three steeks, knit in round bottom up, fingering weight, I can do no more than 3 rounds at a time, also torture, but I already spent money on. the kits, I also ordered yarn for a gorgeous garment by other loops, Isager yarn, I’m Iately obsessed with Isager , especially the silk mohair, not starting that until at least 3 wips done, I don’t know why I knit, it’s like half enjoyable, half torture. Also doing a hat by La bien Aimee called stries with Isager tweed Aran held together with silk mohair!! Good to see you looking great, the yellow tee is stunning!!
Oh dear Nancy. What a story. Keep going on your Kate Davis colour work. I'm sure it will be worth the effort in the end. I totally get your obsession with Isager yarn. It's lovely, and the colours are divine. Their silk mohair is also one of my favourites. Thank you for watching.

The crow in the background is comical. Giving his opinion. Miss Adelaide and the yarn shops and of course my 2 sons are there. You would have been in a panic to know the old address had sent it back to the Post Office. When we moved I left our new address with the new owners in case some mail had still had the old address.
Yes, you cannot not love that crow. I actually did put a nice welcome card with labels of my new address in the mailbox, but the new owners of our house have not been interested in using them. At least now I know, and I got my 29 kg of yarn.

Det var sådan en god tur til Adelaide og jeg smiler hver gang jeg tænker tilbage på den. Trøjen ligger i skammekrogen for tiden, mens jeg har kastet mig over andre mere tilfredsstillende projekter.
