I think Yiheng will get the first sub 4 avg. He has gotten sub 4.1 three times, which shows that he is very capable of getting sub 4 soon. But i think Xuanyi will get the wr next year. My prediction is that he will get in it May-June something like that.

The future of cubing where records cant be broken anymore is when people have to do zbll and can male a cross on any 6 colors, to find the fastest way to a cross possible.

@@Unity811 I have worked with plenty of kids teaching them cubing and my own kid is very talented and ranked No.4 in Spain (out of the kids 14 and under), but the idea that a seven year old can learn 800 odd algs to the point that he can flawlessly recognize, recall and execute them in solves is nonsensical. Unless proven otherwise I would hypothesize that Xuanyi has been subjected to significant coercion to be where he is today. Hope I'm wrong!

I just believe that 800 algs takes years to perfect, there is a reason why no one in the world has done it before, and I mean YEARS. His knowledge base is soooo far off the bell curve it arouses suspicions, that's all. Also, If I may add, it is well documented how in Chinese culture colossal demands can be placed on kids by parents.

dude the zb doesn't solve the last layer in 1 alg it's 1LLL,the zb is divide in zbf2l (f2l+oell combine in1)=+-380and zbll (ocll+pll)+-380,while 1LLL is like f2L classic + 1LLL (1200 alg ig)
2:34 he is actually learning ZB right now. Cube root said so. He also mentioned that to stay at the top Yiheng will eventually need to learn ZB and use it in competition. We are probably not seeing him use it now because he does not know a lot of cases and pausing to check whether or not he knows the case would waste quite a bit of time

Some zb last slot algorithms are not finger tricky and a bit slower than standard f2l algorithms. Also, some zbll algorithms are a bit long (like17,18 moves) and not easy to recognize. So for some cubers, doing standard oll and pll are just better than zb method
@CuberCaiden The cfop method has oll and pll the zb method has zbls and zbll you are doing 2 steps in both methods however the zb method has much worse recognition so cfop is better than zb.
@@Pomni740even with that logic though you’re saving a pair, zbls doesn’t have that bad of recognition at all xuanyi often inspects to it, and zbll recognition can be more difficult but with proper recognition it’s more than manageable and on average the difference between a zbll alg’s efficiency compared to pll isn’t that different and the finger tricks aren’t bad
I understand that Xuanyi’s TPS is not better than Yiheng’s due to his hands being smaller. But I think they should give Xunayi some time, By the time Xuanyi is at Yiheng’s age, Yes he might destroy Yiheng! But there’s a high chance Yiheng can get the sub-4 average already! Tymon is just the only non chinese cuber, He is the only hope to beat chinese cubers right now, There’s not much of a chance for Tymon to do it but he’s still insane!

So Zb would only hurt Yiheng and not help him.
The future of cubing isn't any current method, but a combination. As people learn to with with computers for more efficient solves, we will see times around 2 seconds.
