Better than *most* VR marimbas? That suggests there's a VR marimba better than this one, and I highly doubt it. I've been looking for them and no other marimba has collisions and glissandos. I wonder what's stopping the author from publishing it as a game, as the video shows it already functions better than Percussive VR (no collisions or glissandos), marimbas in VRChat (no collisions), ARimba (no sound and no collisions) and CadenzaVR (won't even open).
Thanks. I was finding it overly sensitive, and the mallet colliders were too often striking multiple notes until I added some invisible "barriers" between the bars to provide some physics resistance
PLEASE tell me once this is finished, i found this in my recommended and im blown away by both the production value of this video and the fact that this exists. Add both of the common two mallet grips (Stevens and Burton) Edit: I usually find Burton useful if I'm doing a tighter two mallet piece and Stevens when its a wider two mallet piece, a good example of Stevens is flight of the bumblebee two mallet and if you can eventually add things like a glockenspiel and vibe with working pedals eventually that would be amazing.
Thanks! I've got a long list of things I'd like to add, but I'm extremely new to VR development and it's all happening in my free time, self-taught. I'll add your suggestions to my list. Hope to work on it again sometime in the new year, and eventually maybe publish it on SideQuest.
I really want to try this, it looks smoother than most of the vr marimbas that I have tried

@@Krzeszny95 I have tried one in vrchat that had colisions, the problem was the mallets stuck to the keys
Can't wait for this to be on sale🙏
good work on the collision checks

This is exactly what I needed
Incredible work man
Thanks!
