I was the Assistant Engineer of KWA, in charge of Sabarimala-Pamba water supply scheme during 1986-87. Opening of the temple in every Malayalam month for 5 days was there during the above period too. The number of devotees during that time was less compared to the numbers coming these days. I remember that Shri. Ayyappan, owner of Kottayam Parthas was a regular devotee at that time.

NAIR .... Unfortunately the Report never seen light....
Report is available in the internet now. But no further police investigation took place based on this report.

MDM since you told of Sabarimala,i was also blessed to serve at tirupathi,as always the talk of misuse of official position was hurting,it was my prayers and hurt that made me take a resolve,i will walk up the holy hill of tirumala, by the grace my guru and the universal mother and the blessing of tirupathi Balaji,i walked up tirumala 18 times in 8 months, of my one year posting,which was never done before or after i was posted out, people talk,lousy chaps
Sabarimala Ulsavam and Makaravilakku r two different occasions and festivals ... ulsavam is the day where Ayyappan alight to pamba and idol get holy bath but Makaravilakku is not the official festival ... One more thing .. the makravilakku day people gather to see lamps that lighted in “ sannidhanam” and almost all know that it’s been lighted by forest and kseb dept ... but devotees pray not to that light but to that place where an ancient temple or a sort of “ Moolasthanam” of Sabarimala temple is considered ... and that day only devotees could understand the location of that temple due to that lamp lighting in that evening darkness ... so it’s not a part of any superstition but a chance to pray to that temple or towards its direction .. 🙏🏽

The original diety of Lord ayyapa is found from that Guha kshetra only. Diety was in the form of Lord Narasimha Deva. Leter this diety installed in Sabarimala Temple.

മാഡം tvm ഇൽ വിജിലൻസ് DIG ആയിരുന്ന സമയത്തു2004:ഇൽ ഫോണിൽ സംസാരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്, അന്ന് ഒരു pvt കമ്പനി യിൽ ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്ന സമയം, ഞാൻ psc എഴുതി നടന്നിരുന്നു, അന്ന് മാഡത്തിന്റെ ips ആയ വർഷം ഒക്കെ ചോദിച്ചു,അപ്പോൾ മാഡം എന്നോട് പറഞ്ഞു സിവിൽ സർവീസ് എഴുതണം എന്നൊക്കെ, നന്നായി വർക്ക്‌ ചെയ്താൽ കിട്ടും എന്നൊക്കെ, അത് എന്നിൽ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ ആരാധന, ഇൻസ്പിറേഷൻ ഒക്കെ വലുതായിരുന്നു, സിവിൽ സർവീസ് പ്രിലിമിനറി പോലും കടന്നില്ലെങ്കിലും ഒരു വർഷത്തിനകം മൂന്നാല് ലിസ്റ്റ് കളിൽ പെട്ടു, പിന്നീട് 2 ജോലികൾ കിട്ടി, കേരള govt, ഇൽ, ആദ്യം കിട്ടിയ പഞ്ചായത്ത്‌ ഡിപ്പാർട്മെന്റ് ഇൽ, (കൊല്ലത്തു) (2008)ജോലി തുടരുന്നു, ഇപ്പൊ 7 മാസമായി അക്കൗണ്ടന്റ് പോസ്റ്റിൽ പ്രൊമോഷൻ ലഭിച്ചു പാലക്കാട്‌ ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്നു, ഒരുപാട് നന്ദി മാഡം, മാഡത്തെ ഒരിക്കലും മറക്കാൻ പറ്റില്ല, എന്നും പ്രാർത്ഥനയിൽ ഓർക്കുന്നു പിന്നെ 😍 ഒരു കാര്യം കൂടി, മാഡത്തിന്റെ ശബ്ദം വളരെ attractiive ആണ്,😍😍😍
