Hi, why you wouldn’t install a 420mm AIO on top? I have an asus tuf 4080 with strimer plus v2 (12vhpwr) on a h7 flow and the side glass panel close perfectly fine, long time ago I returned a O11D because I was out able to close the side panel, will my GPU and strimer cable will work with this case? Also I have read that you can buy a front bracket kit that supports max 3x140mm fans, so maybe a 420mm can be installed on the front also. What do you think? Thanks.
I'm doing my first pc build and will be using the evo rgb. What do I do with fan direction? Would intake from bottom and back with exhaust out the single side and top be OK?
NO. You never vant to have the rear fan/fans as intake (they don't have any kind of filter). And you don't want more fans as exhaust then as intake. That creates a negative preasure, and air gets draged in the case from all openings (with no dust filters). You want intake from the bottom and from the side. exhaust from the top and rear.
If the Evo rgb had the vertical rgb strip, with the top and bottom, I would get one. I much more prefer the Evo XL over the plain looking Evo RGB, and it's smaller.
Can you fit a slim quad rad in the 011d's side? it looks like there is almost room for 4 fans, lots of space above and below the triple I can see, can you not squeeze a quad rad there?
I have one Lian Li TL LCD screen that I want to use on the back panel for an exhaust fan with screen. However, with the controller you really need a 6 pin pcei cable? My gpu uses 3 x 8 pin pceis so I used the 3 pcei cords it comes with. Am I better off using the 12x4 connector to an extender that goes from 12 to 3x8 connector and then frees up all the pcei cables if I have to use one for just one TL fan if that makes sense? I have more slots on my power supply but then have to go hunt for one pcei cord. Prob save some space on the inside getting rid of 3 pcei cords though
can i fit RTX 4090 STRIX in Lian Li RGB Evo? i have Lian Li O11D Razer Edition which is smaller i guess and i can't close the side glass i wonder should i get Evo XL
Are there special (dedicated) brands of motherboard/cpu needed to run/control the rgb fans? And now i am even more confused on which case i should take... Evo RGB? Evo XL? or the Vision with glass top? Pfff...
I would have a rather specific question, I hope someone can help me out: I have a TUF 4090 and I would like to mount it vertically, however I also have a low profile 1030 that should be placed in the lowest x16 PCIe slot on the motherboard, right at the bottom. If I install the vertical GPU bracket in the EVO RGB and the mainboard is in the upper position, does it block the lowest PCIe slot? (I also plan to have triple fans at the bottom). Can this maybe work in the XL instead? Since the 4090 is a 3,5 slot GPU I also can’t add the 1030 to the 4-slot vertical bracket either I guess.. it would need to be a 5-slot bracket for that.
