100% fail for not including "Debbie Downer" when Lindsay Lohan hosted. It should've not only been on the list, it should've been #1. Their breakdown makes it the funniest SNL skit in the show's history.
EXACTLY!!! After the video concluded, I instantly went to inquire about why DD @ Disney wasn’t #1! Perusing through the comments, the majority all mention this Epic Fail!
I hope there's a part two and it has the Disneyland skit Debbie Downer where they all loose it. Don't know if it counts as a sketch were it wasn't going to go as planned, but...
The one with Hugh Laurie and cast as Ghosthunters is hilarious. Trying to find the "ghost" they all heard and smelled with their high tech gadgets was hilarious. And I totally agree, a part 2, 3, 4, 5 as many as it takes to cover them all is needed
2:25 the way Tiffany Haddish picks up the kittens and holds them, the look on her face, and the kittens looking scared and confused it’s all so funny😂😂😂
The one with Kate McKinnon (?) talking about being abducted by aliens is a pretty funny one too! All the members of the skit were trying to keep it together 😂
You could have done a Top 100 for this and I'd watch every minute. This was awesome. Thank you! I'd love to see this topic done with The Carol Burnett Show as well!
I think the "Debbie Downer at Disney World' sketch with Rachel Dratch should have been #1, hands down. The very first time I saw the skit I was laughing so hard that my chest hurt, lol!
Some of the best moments were unplanned. In sketch #3 Maya Rudolph switching accents each time she spoke was what broke Bill Hader and Kristin Wiig. It wasn't planned and it caught them both off guard and just got funnier each time she did it. In sketch #2 Chris Farley worked with the prop guys to have a collapsible table... but they didn't tell the rest of the cast in the sketch. You can see them all jump when he falls onto it.... none of them were expecting it so those reactions were real. Of course they were cracking up long before then, just by his performance... but that definitely threw them off even more.
I sometimes wonder if the unfunny skits are intentionally botched so the laughs come from the silliness(?), certainly not from wit or cleverness. However, no cheating from Chris Farley. A comic genius! That exaggerated walk and hitching the belt .... Solid gold.
Watch when they are by the door, Phil was losing it. Chris was incapable of breaking. Part of the reason for that is he was so insane in what he’d do for a laugh……
I think your #1 with every Stefon is spot on. I think he was my all time favorite character. I think my second favorite would be Tina Fey doing Sarah Palin.
I recall the sketch where they had Chris Farley on wires in order to flying him out over the audience. As they started to lift him, the lines got caught in a light fixture. He was stuck about a foot above the ground, unable to raise or lower him. It took the efforts of a stagehand and Kevin Nealon to disentangle him, all while Farley was helpless.
Levi's Wokes. I laughed to tears fist time I saw that! & it's still a go-to when I just gotta laugh at the insanity that has become our reality. It might not be a sketch that went off the rails, but it's comedic gold rare for SNL since about the mid-90s. The "180* of gender-bending fly," & the color greb. "They're not brown. But they're not not brown!"
two takeaways: 1. Bill Hader can't keep a straight face to save his life 2. Vanessa Beyer was not amused by anyone's shenanigans as she can stay in character no matter what is going on. lol.
It is obvious that whoever compiled this list didn't dig back too far into the SNL archives. It was even more funnier back in the days where the cast didn't break character every week. Hulk Hogan and Mr. T on Fernando's Hideaway when Billy Crystal cracked the two of them up is one of my favorites.
These are some of the best comedian actors ever. Consistent. Most of these skits are before the last few years of stink bombs. Matt Foley still lives in a van down by the river.
I agree with the choice of Stefan but I agree with some other people, I was expecting Debbie downer at Disneyland to be on the list. One that I personally like but I don’t think it fits on this list was both the Donald Glover Jurassic Park lawyer and the Donald Glover Barbie pitch but maybe it’s just my personal love and admiration for Troy Barnes ;)
Should have had "Live Report" with Keenan interviewing Margot Robbie and her boyfriend Mikey Day! Edit: Okay, the cast never broke down, but brings tears to my eyes every time I watch it!
There were a couple of other skits which weren't mentioned. There was the Secret Military Weapon sketch with the Shang Chi actor that had a dog's head on a man's body where the dog just did what dogs do, and there was the poltical news sketch with Woody Harrelson where there were supposed to be breaks in the filming that were supposed to show past clips about election predictions. The skit itself wasn't particularly funny, but there was a gaffe that showed one of the stage handlers fixing Aidy Bryant's wardrobe thst wasn't supposed to be filmed, and after that Aidy wasn't able to keep a straight face.
The one where they're doing news report, but they have to convey flashbacks, so during cut aways, the performers change their clothes to look like different moments in time. They do it so often, a crew member is caught on stage trying to assist in the change. They lost it afterwards.

Debbie Downer at WDW
@@Legendof_zelada96
The DD @ Disney skit isn’t on this list or did they update to include it?
The funniest thing about american humour is it is not very funny...at all !
Just play the clips. My god. The woman who talks NON-STOP is the reason I'll pass this channel by from now on.
@@mogadon7 Then why are you here?
Every Stefon sketch was hysterical....especially when we all realized Bill Hader had no idea what was coming...so good!
I also love anytime he mentions his crush on Seth
Totally agree
@@chelsearicci8553 aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
This video has everything: Stefon, Sidney Applebaum, MTV's Dan Cortese.
Anything with Bill Hader and Maya Rudolph is bound to be epic.
100% fail for not including "Debbie Downer" when Lindsay Lohan hosted. It should've not only been on the list, it should've been #1. Their breakdown makes it the funniest SNL skit in the show's history.
Definitely a fail
EXACTLY!!! After the video concluded, I instantly went to inquire about why DD @ Disney wasn’t #1! Perusing through the comments, the majority all mention this Epic Fail!
That was the best ever!!!!!!!!
Total fail.
Has MsMojo ever even watched Saturday Night Live??????
I don't think soooo.
It was hilarious! Especially when Lindsay cracked up! I love Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake playing Maurice and Robin Gibbs of The Bee Gees!
These comedians were what made SNL enjoyable in years past. I miss these moments. I glad these video clips exist!
I hope there's a part two and it has the Disneyland skit Debbie Downer where they all loose it. Don't know if it counts as a sketch were it wasn't going to go as planned, but...
That and Jeffrey's.
I watched that skit for the first time LITERALLY just a couple hours ago
That should've been #1, and it wasn't even on the list. How could they forget about that one???
@@BillGraper exactly!
Debbie Downer was definitely a recurring sketch, and definitely should've made this list!!
The one with Hugh Laurie and cast as Ghosthunters is hilarious. Trying to find the "ghost" they all heard and smelled with their high tech gadgets was hilarious.
And I totally agree, a part 2, 3, 4, 5 as many as it takes to cover them all is needed

The one with Kate McKinnon (?) talking about being abducted by aliens is a pretty funny one too! All the members of the skit were trying to keep it together 😂
Ryan Gosling about to piss his pants from Kate Mckinnon’s performance👌🏻😂
I adore Stefon! I crack up whenever I see him.
Chris Farley was so funny--I especially loved the Patrick Swazy chippendale dancers!
Notice how many of these feature either Bill Hader or Kate McKinnon?
You could have done a Top 100 for this and I'd watch every minute. This was awesome. Thank you! I'd love to see this topic done with The Carol Burnett Show as well!
I’m so glad no sketches with Jimmy Fallon were on here. He doesn’t break character so much as never even found the character.
I think the "Debbie Downer at Disney World' sketch with Rachel Dratch should have been #1, hands down. The very first time I saw the skit I was laughing so hard that my chest hurt, lol!
How can this list not include Debbie Downer in Disneyland? By FAR the most chaotic skit that completely unraveled in the end.
Stefon covering his face wasn't just part of the bit--it was essential just to get Bill Hader through the sketch!
Massive Headwound Harry. Every Debbie Downer, especially the skit with Steve Carrell's Bob Bummer.
Will Forte and Peyton Manning. Locker room sketch was comedy brilliance the best almost ever from the whole series.
I love how the majority of this is Bill Hader lol
My most favorite are the Alien encounters, also Tom Hanks made the Haunted elevator hilarious.
The sketch with Adele about vacations in Africa was hilarious too, nobody made it through that sketch without laughing
Kate McKinnon is an amazing actress! She needs to be I'm more movies! 🤩
My favorite is with Adele and the Africa skit she couldn’t hold her laughs in at all 😂😂😂
That Chris Farley skit cracks me up every time and I've seenit a zillion times.
Does Bill Hader get through a single sketch without laughing?
Some of the best moments were unplanned. In sketch #3 Maya Rudolph switching accents each time she spoke was what broke Bill Hader and Kristin Wiig. It wasn't planned and it caught them both off guard and just got funnier each time she did it. In sketch #2 Chris Farley worked with the prop guys to have a collapsible table... but they didn't tell the rest of the cast in the sketch. Matt Foley was a special character. I cried all day when Chris passed. Miss him like crazy.
Thanks for the laugh! That was great!
I still don't know how Phil Hartman kept himself together in the Matt Foley sketch. Both of those guys were in another league!
What helps make the Matt Foley skit so great is the Chris Farley and Phil Hartmann never break.
Watch when they are by the door, Phil was losing it. Chris was incapable of breaking. Part of the reason for that is he was so insane in what he’d do for a laugh……
The Debbie Downer skit with Lindsay Lohan??? Nobody kept a straight face
We definitely need a part 2 to this 🤣
Yeah, where they actually look at anything before 1991.
Omg, the one with Gilda Radner and Candice Bergen…I can watch that a hundred times and still lose it!
More Cowbell could fit this category.
I love the "Lovahs" skit with Will Ferrell, Rachel Dratch, Jimmy Fallon and Drew Barrymore. EVERYONE in that hot tub is a hot mess! 😆
Bill Hader’s laugh is so contagious
I think your #1 with every Stefon is spot on. I think he was my all time favorite character. I think my second favorite would be Tina Fey doing Sarah Palin.
Career Day w/ Adam Driver is just over the top. Adam Driver seems like the person who’ll nonchalant it during dress rehearsal and just crush it live.
Bill Hader is amazing, one of the best! Breaking character makes it even funnier.
Levi's Wokes.

The "180* of gender-bending fly," & the color greb. "They're not brown. But they're not not brown!"
I love all comedy sketches where the players crack themselves up and have to do improv and keep in character.
Cheeseburger! Cheeseburger! Cheeseburger! Some of the best out of control improv by SNL! You missed that one.
The cork-soakers? Debbie Downer at Disneyworld? Lindsay Lohan and Harry Potter? You guys did not try very hard with this montage.
I hope y'all know that y'all had me literally laughing out loud at 2:30 in the morning.
two takeaways: 1. Bill Hader can't keep a straight face to save his life
2. Vanessa Beyer was not amused by anyone's shenanigans as she can stay in character no matter what is going on. lol.

There's a reason most of these had Bill Hader in them...
... and that is why he is my spirit animal.
I think the 'Inside The Beltway' sketch from a few years ago with Aidy Bryant was one of the best to "not go as planned.":)
Should've included the Thanksgiving scene that was done with Adele's song "Hello". That's in the top 3 for me.
You might as well just call this "Top 10 Bill Hader Sketches That Were NEVER Going to Go As Planned"
The Chippendale was funny too.
All #1 BRILLIANT
Will Forte has some moves!
Stefon and Weekend Updates are my fav's!
#2 and #1 were both perfect!
These are some of the best comedian actors ever. Consistent. Most of these skits are before the last few years of stink bombs. Matt Foley still lives in a van down by the river.
I loved both Kate and Ady and there shared skits, they will be missed!
Cannot believe you didn't include "Debbie Downer at Disneyworld." I was screaming during that one.
They used that red scooter SO many times. They wore it out. It was fabulous.
Troy and Abed in the MOOORRNNIN
Would like some of the early shows. Belushi, Aykroyd, Murphy, Radner, etc…😃
Hader was a comedic God on SNL, Armisen was hysterical as a Californian, and Chris Farley was simply the GOAT-....
Massive headwound Harry!
You missed a few with Cecily trying to deal with dogs. One in particular pretty much wrecked her trying to get away.
I love when the stars crack each other up
Stefan is the very best!!!!
Should have had "Live Report" with Keenan interviewing Margot Robbie and her boyfriend Mikey Day!
Edit: Okay, the cast never broke down, but brings tears to my eyes every time I watch it!
Super Showcase might be my favorite skit of all time! “You’ll be golfing all day and leaving before dinner!”
I love SNL😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Video: *starts*
Me: *already on the floor laughing*
Yep me too 🤣
The Betty White “muffin” skit was hilarious.
Two Wild and Crazy Guys
Wish We Need More Cowbells was included. With Christopher Walken.
Just seeing that Horus sketch for the 1st time. That was funny.
The forgot about the Alien Abductions with Ryan Gosling. I blew soup out of my nose.
I so miss Stefon!! There are so many SNL actors that have left the show that I really miss like Cheri O'Teri and Kate McKinnon
Bass-o-Matic. Hands down
Fred Armisen's Californian accent is just too real
STEFON is my boyfriend!
Stefon is the character I miss the most!
I have only seen clips of the show since Belushi and Aykroyd left but I have found the news update funny as hell
Thanks for explaining all that to us. Otherwise we wouldn't be able to figure it out.
Loved John bolushi when he was on SNL or all of the not for prime time players.
Shweaty Ballz!
Counter to this video's title, I'd say the Stefon sketches go exactly as planned.
Always like the news too.
Chris Farley was the best!
I can definitely do without the commentary. Just play the sketches, they're self explanatory.
7:35: " considering the wacky script and direction, (and that undeniable goddess with a, apologies, bangin booty, sitting on his lap...)
The one where they're doing news report, but they have to convey flashbacks, so during cut aways, the performers change their clothes to look like different moments in time. They do it so often, a crew member is caught on stage trying to assist in the change. They lost it afterwards.
You forgot one of my favorite skits
Love ❤️ and miss Stefan
Fred Armison is the absolute best.
Remember the good times. Seems likely SNL will end with year 50.
The Lawrence Welk show with the Finger Lake Sisters
