Gorney Park | Cleaning up a City Pond - 06/01/24

Chet put a new rack on his pickup, and we needed to test it before we carried the boats on a long trip. The closest water was the pond at Gorney Park in Caledonia (not trusting the Root River while there's flood warnings). We did some garbage pick up and wildlife viewing.

I take my kids fishing here all the time. Why didn't you access the pond from the east beach shoreline? Even from the west shoreline? That is literally the worst spot to access the pond.
Love your cruiser 12.8. Really want to get my wife one of those little boats for paddling.

There were people fishing on both beaches. We didn't want to disturb them.
I love my boat. She'd love the cruiser.
