This is one of the best live musical performances on UA-cam. It is another example of a phenomenal performance that was left out of the Woodstock film.
@sydmccreath4554, John can't talk me out of loving this performance. Michael Jackson went backstage and cried after his legendary moon walk performance because he thought it wasn't good enough. That doesn't mean it wasn't awesome.
Add a reply about myself, I had fun on stage, yet felt angry after the show with my companion, so I left with the Kennedys niece an stayed at her sisters college town and drank a gallon of Jim Beam.
It's 8:30 a.m. on a Sunday. I ran upon this video and this simply awesome song and began dancing by myself in my living room. I love this song! Fantastic through and through -- makes me want to go into a bayou and dance. Awesome!
When you consider the magnitude of the moment, a stoned audience at Woodstock the stuff legends are made of, this may arguably be the best live performance of all time.
I was born in a musical family my mom played a steel guitar my dad played guitar on the radio where i was from. so i naturally loved music , John was the most influential person to me. I been playin the guitar for 45 years and will always play his music till im dead.
did you now that the Rickenbacker 325 Sunfire John is playing in the video from 1969, is the same guitar he lost for over 40 years until his wife found it in a music shop and John never knew about how she got it, but it is the very same 325 that he played many of the hits like Born on the Bayou, he tells the story of how he lost it now in many concerts
I grow up with CCR in the mid 70's..." Chronicle " was the first vinyl Album I played on my Marantz stereo.....in Germany...I still got this Album and my Marantz stereo 🥰
CCR were a constant in our house in Ireland in the 70s when you played their music you forgot about what went on outside, still listening to it today and always will.
Great! It was a shame the performances by CCR were not included in the Woodstock documentary, but apparently John Fogerty thought their performance was not up to his standards and wouldn't allow any of the concert footage in the film.
Seem c.c.r..back in hay day up in Seattle hell of a show they put on .wish they would come back..to bad about John bro.tom .I just got lucky to see them all together what a show they put on. We love u brothers

Then in 1970 mybfsther boutht me the santana first algum and the abraxas. Then this credencee clrar water revival. Ay 5 years old i did not esnt to listen any more children music just real rock and also. Led zeppelin and in 1975 i heard from the first time gran funk.

What can I say?
All I can do is agree w/you !!
That's it. Sin Palabras😮...
It was left out by CCR’s decision. They were embarrassed by the equipment issues they had.
Incredible vocals. Don't think I have seen any footage of CCR at Woodstock till this.

I just did the same until my hip had a protest.
The best music by far. Nothing better than CCR.

Well I'll be,...you DID print it ...
...Nothing like 20/20

The Bay Area has so many incredible musicians. It's as if there was nothing, and come the 1960-70s ZAP! Makes me proud to be native.
An incredible moment thankfully caught on film. What a time.

It is included now in the most recent release even in Blue Ray

History being made here folks.

This is very good.
I always thought it was " who're I'm going to buy you " ......
I can't remaster this- perfect
Great sound. Tx
Que banda de la PM !
CCR is not in the Woodstock movie because John Fogarty didn't think they played particularly well. Based on the video, I would disagree.
Great great great , bless you

Why wasn’t this included on the original movie footage release?
JF didnt think they were sounding good enough.
Sangue ultrajante
How cool can you get. right ?
Were bangs part of the band's ethos?
Banging on the drums!
These are my kin...Slap ya mama hot musicians. Laisez les bon temps roulez!!!!❤ 3:58

Fogerty refused to allow this footage to go into the movie. The banter suggests technical issues that proved vexing.
Pretty heavily touched-vocals. Still a great performance
I like to share music
