I was only 6/7 yrs old when I fell in love with CCR's music, the first time I heard John's voice was magical. My uncle played their album constantly. Life wouldn't be the same without CCR❤
There's no voice quite like John Fogerty's. I was born in the early 90's, & I have listened to CCR since I was old enough to enjoy music. No other style or age of music will ever compare to the tireless jams made irreplaceable by the legends that made this music so special. This kind of music was recorded well before my time, but I'll love rock n' roll til' the day I die. I hope there are at least some people in my generation that can appreciate solid gold oldies. The old soul in me can't get her fix without blasting some CCR (and a few other favorites) every now and then. Thank you CCR for turning me on to rock n' roll, your music will always be a part of me.

First time I listened to this was with headphones, DaNang Vietnam, 1968. It instantly became my favorite CCR song. I continue to have this on my gym play list of songs today, 52 years later. It reminds me of those times, late night on California freeways and this tune would come on and I would slip the Porsche into fifth gear and just cruise. I was surprised that out of all the CCR songs and hits, there were so many others whose fondness for this is as great as mine.

Such an outpouring of great songs, great vocals and great guitar playing in a very short period of time. He was a genius.
I loved the way they did the live performances to sound like they did on the radio. The spotlight on him, the mic and the camera so close you could see his tonsils when he screamed lol! He's awesome!

First time I listened to this was with headphones, DaNang Vietnam, 1968. It instantly became my favorite CCR song. I continue to have this on my gym play list of songs today, 52 years later. It reminds me of those times, late night on California freeways and this tune would come on and I would slip the Porsche into fifth gear and just cruise. I was surprised that out of all the CCR songs and hits, there were so many others whose fondness for this is as great as mine.
It is very nice to see sharing same song, same name and almost the same car cruise which I made yesterday. Salute to the taste, Sir.

More than anything, the ladies cast their spells on me... lived with seven women (not at the same time lol) married three of them... stayed good friends with them all. My third and final wife is Chinese. Married 16 years now. Thanks

Mavis Staples said that John Fogerty had more soul in his little finger than does all of Harlem. Now THAT is an authentic compliment. The man had the muses working in those days, no doubt. Such an outpouring of great songs, great vocals and great guitar playing in a very short period of time. He was a genius.
He still is, not dead by any means.
I loved the way they did the live performances to sound like they did on the radio. The spotlight on him, the mic and the camera so close you could see his tonsils when he screamed lol! He's awesome!
