Got mine Monday - gel & razor. I’ve re-chromed the dome twice since and it’s really smooth, and quick. Takes a little getting used to to manipulate the razor, especially with some of the irregularities of my head, but all-in-all, it’s nice. The gel really makes the difference in the glide.

The first video I watched of yours was about "when to shave your head" when I was struggling with hair lose. Shaving my head was one of the best decisions I made (symbolically). I felt like a new person and it was the first step to becoming the man I want to be. You have great videos more men should see!
I used to do the electric razor 'buzz' look up until about 6 months ago....now I just shave my scalp smooth with disposable blades. However, this looks like a nice product. Thanks for the info Rich!
I've started using a Remington electric razor left over from when I shaved my face not my head. Takes a little longer, but looks and feels great.

Lol just did the shave a couple days ago! I still had a solid amount of hair but fuck it, away it goes. I’m glad I did it strictly because it convinced me NOT to do any hair transplants
Started shaving my head a couple months ago and I like being bald a whole lot more than having hair because it's much easier maintenance. Just bought a gel/oil/razor bundle from Head Shave Club to try it out. Will consider getting a subscription if it gets me better results than using a razor.

I use a similar kind of razor too. They are by far the quickest, easily beats cartidge razor and foil shaver when it comes to speed. They only negative is that due to the bulkier design some spots are trickier to get, especially if you have a beard. I usually use my normal beard razor to get them.
I just gave myself a "Lex Luthor" cut with a double edged razor.
It’s not only the shape of the head that dictates how well someone looks bald...it’s also the ears. If they don’t stick out far enough away the head the results can make you look more like Marvel’s “THE THING.”
The quarantine beard is looking better and fuller. Keep those natural cheek lines growing in instead of shaving them too low. 😎
I usually like to shave my head once a year at new years. Sometimes a shaved head helps improve focus and self esteem as well.

Love the video Rich! So much that I ordered the razor and gel. Unfortunately, I went back to Headblade. The back and forth kept giving me razor burn even in the shower. You should try Headblade though. They look like cool motorcycles. Right up your alley. Still a great video though, and the reason I tried it. Keep up the good work brotha!
just shaved my head as a 17 year old. used a 6mm guard so i still have a little hair. pretty happy with it

You're actually the reason I shaved my head lol, I was just letting grow like I use to (I had super thick hair as a teen and even up till mid 20s, I'm 26 now) but I started to notice thin spots...... then bald spots.... then I seen one of your vids from 2018 and just said "fuck it, let's do it"! I actually ended preferring shaved/shorter hair
Make sure that you avoid direct hot water from shower head. Damn that is the reason many people loose hair.
Always use a hand in between to spread water even and with reasonable water temperature.
@@ArkadyRenko1 Bro, my barber burnt a tip of my hairline years back and hair never grows at that spot. Probably 1000% right on that hot water part.
@@bryantrud yes. Hot water or burned hair ruins scalp. This causes dandruff. Hairs starts thinning.
men have a habit of putting our heads down when washing hair and they start losing hair from behind where baldness starts. I stopped using direct water from shower head long time ago and managed to stop my hair.

I always use the Wilkinson's throwaway ones with 3 blades for years now. They are the only ones that do the job for me, others irritate my skin. If you shave your head every day you take a shower, it's not more than a 2 minute job.
2 minutes - I don't know man.. If your head doesn't have a lot of fat tissue, the curves and grooves require much more time than that. But yeah, throwaways work best for me as well.
I shave my head twice a week w/ hot water, shave cream and a Schick razor. Pretty easy. I like the double one you have because you get both directions in one motion. You always hate missing that one slice of stubble.

Great video. I use Gillette razors with HeadSlick cream, works well, imo. Propermale's head shave hot towel work well for prep, especially for irritation.

I'm 36 and was sick of the comb over so shaved my head and love the look but there is so many shitty videos and advice about shaving your head but this advice has put everything I was worrying about being bald it great perspective even down to moles and working out the get that right look, thank you brother appreciate it 👍
I’m 31 my hair started thinning out last year when I was 30 I was so stressed out about it with combovers and wearing hats. I tried some natural ways like rosemary water and scalp massages but didn’t work much since my hair still thinner out. I’m aware of things like Finasteride and Minoxidil but didn’t want to deal with the hair shedding lol. So I shaved my head last week gotta say best decision I ever made like no more combovers, hats and most importantly stress about how my hair will look like the next day.
What's your thoughts on scalp micro pigmentation?
I was going to go ahead with plugs but honestly the scar looks worse than being bald. Also I have been shaving my head since I was in my mid teens, and when I had full hair anyways

I use the BIC 3 hybrid… it’s $10 for 12 of em… they work like a charm. I by the cheap shaving creams from the dollar store. As long as ur take a hot shower any cheap shaving cream works honesty

I have great hair but I still shave my head during the summer because It makes feel super fresh.
Shave it against the grain use Bigelow cream has eucalyptus, rinse with cold water and watch the shine. 20 years in love the bald beard look.

at 43, i still have a full head of hair and it grows like a weed and is thick. the NZ lockdown means i missed my scheduled haircut so had to use the clippers for a number 3 over the weekend. it looks ok, and while i can see where my hair is thinning, if i do start to go bald i am not worried about shaving my head now. thanks for the video.

I shave my head with my Philips Norelco rotary after my shower and it gets smooth. A few pricklies, but, oh well. My hair is blonde anyway.

I usually shave my beard and head with double edge safety razor.
I've been using a double edge safety razor......and once you get used to it, it's great. Super cheap too. Time consuming though, cause you have to do at least 2 runs with it to get it smooth.

WAHL balding clippers. Had mine for about 5 years and just bought new blades for it. They are expensive but they are professional and get nice and low. They plug in bit they just keep going. Just keep up on the blade lube
My Wahl clippers are almost 40 years old, brilliant product, well they were, no idea now, last set I saw in a shop was made of plastic and plastic chrome.
I found that… steamed/waterlogged hair. A hot wet towel soaking on the head for a few minutes it best

Hey man, any tips for growing out my beard? I'm trying to fill it in.
How do you avoid ingrown hairs when shaving right to the scalp? I love shaving it right down like this, but always get ingrown hairs a week later, and they hurt like a sonofanitch.
I have no issues with this razor and gel combo, give it a try.

I started with electric clippers in my late 30's, then moved to gilette multiblade razor about 5 years later. Now use Schick - switched to it after gilette went woke. Basically I treat my head the same way I treat my jawline - same shaving cream, same multi-blade razor.

Any bald headed brothers got any advice for ingrown hairs on the back of the head? I've been shaving for a few years now and can't seem to get a leg up on these hairs. I shave with the grain to try to minimize the ingrown hairs but it doesn't help much. Any help would be much appreciated.
My suggestion would be to use an apricot scrub (Walmart) the day/night after the shave. Also, I rub High time dare to be bald scalp treatment on my head for a couple days afterwards.

I shave my head with a Gillette fusion. Good down to the skin. I use conditioner for shaving cream. Then I use thayes witch hazel for aftershave. Works all the time. I been shaving my head for 20 yrs. works amazing.

Agreed, no way i can use a razor my skin is way too sensitive. I just use clippers and don't really worry if it's not down to skin.
This is pretty common for black men or men with coarser hair textures
I've been getting some pretty comfortable shaves since I switched to DE Shaving. I break out a little in the back but no where near as much as I did when I used cartridge razors.
@D Keys - Try using Bump Patrol Maximum Strength Aftershave treatment. It works great for me. I am susceptible to razor bumps in the back of my head too and the above mentioned formula works for me. Could be found at Walmart or any pharmacy.

Guys if you're balding. Just shave it off. Just stop, seriously. Stop trying to cover it up by dragging hair or other dumb methods. You need to accept things. Man up and shave it off. You're just speeding up the inevitable, not only it's good for your looks but for your mental health as well. Possibly grow a beard and hit the gym.
I end up with a big scare when I had a hair transplant 10 years ago, now the hair is gone, and when I shave it shows big time...:(
Some guys have had scalp micropigmentation to help with masking transplant scars. If it’s affecting you quite a bit, it might be worth looking into it if you haven’t already? Sorry that you’ve had to deal with that. :(

I have two little molеs in front of my head exactly where I am starting to bald. And I am kinda scared to shave cuz I might cut them. They are not very dark, but they scare the shit out of me. And I am kinda shitting myself on the thought of someone trying to cut them.

I use a Venus 5 blade with soap bars right on the razor. Was shaving my lady’s @ and continued on my head. Works great! Cheap and effective. Rebranding opportunity
